Khan fight was also taped delayed as opposed to actually being live, on top of that I don't think that fight was really retaining the viewers~

          Amir still beings in viewers.

I recall him doing good numbers too.

That might be true, however if you ask Team Khan I'm sure they think it was Amir that drew in a large majority of those viewers

I have zero against Ortiz TBH, just pointing out that Ortiz didn't draw in all those viewers just to see him. There were other factors to those #'s I'm sure.

I don't know how tape delayed versus aired live works, but it was shown together on HBO in the same viewing.

True that but those people watched Ortiz too, whether they tuned in for him or not. And now they know him. So in effect, he's not as unknown as he was before.

Cotto and Margarito would be easy wins for Floyd? Define easy please. Because if those fights a re easy, what do you call this **** with Ortiz. This wouldn't even be a fight, it's a walk in the park for Floyd. Ortiz isn't a young lion, he's been defeated twice. He is damaged good after Maidana. He only looks good because Floyd wanted him to look good to justify this fight as PPV, but in all honesty, this fight is garbage.

I agree, and I think that's great. He deserves it. My comment was in response to DE100 stating Berto-Ortiz brought in 1.5 million viewers (most since Foreman-Cotto) as if he was already in superstar status that brought in those #'s all by himself. Oscar chose to be by Khans side that night and not Victors (which I found a little interesting considering GBP originally hyped Ortiz as the next ODLH) and announced he was giving him a new 5 (?) fight deal. Some people say that's no big deal, but I thought it was kinda telling.

i hope this is true that this fight is a prelude to pacquiao vs mayweather it'll be the sweetest thing. You gotta give it to floyd, fighting a younger lion like ortiz. i think bradley will be the wildcard between them two.
