I would no longer be surprised if Mayweather fought Martinez down the line.

I wouldn't either, but at that point Martinez (even if Sergio was MM Champion coming off another huge KO victory), he would get downplayed just because he will be nearly 37-38-39 IF Floyd actually beat him...

Its just how it is with Mayweather. No matter who it is. Even pac, if that ever goes down. Do people really think Floyd would get credit from some of these fan boys when and if he beats Pac?

There is always an excuse no matter how old/young, fast, big, small there never enough. Floyd says this almost every fight yet he still pulls in the largest PPV #s for that year.

I hope it happens and I hope Martinez still has a MW Title and possibly a JMW title.

Ortiz 2nd fight at 147 and 2nd defense is Floyd? Ortiz is young and just looking for a payday and Golden Boy and his Manager is making him a ****** business decision. Ortiz and Berto fight was a exciting fight but alot of head butts and back of the head shots in that fight. Floyd know Ortiz can't hit him with them sloppy shots. Fans I hope you don't feel this a good fight. We know the winner is before they fight. Floyd. This guy think Ortiz is a good contender just because he won a belt from a overated Berto and Floyd know this a easy win.

I'm going to give Mayweather credit here. Ortiz is young, powerful, now has a proven heart, cuts off the ring, just topled a very strong, fast, unbeaten Berto. Mayweather did NOT pick an easy fight at all!! Fighting Ortiz is impressive because Ortiz brings it big time! This is a risky fighter cause Ortiz has nothing to lose and Mayweather is risking a lot.

Ortiz is not even close to Manny Pacquiao. This would is just gonna be another Mayweather comedy show. If you like a fight...pick Manny Pacquiao. In one of their sparring sessions Manny almost KO'd that boy.

i guess you didnt see the pac vs shane fight. pacs wide sloppy shots just beg for a counter. vs floyd he would eat accurate shots all night. but i bet you thought pac vs shane was a good fight huh?
