Very much so. Let's take a look at Berto and ask ourselves what the guy does well. Not too many things if you ask me. Shitty foot movement. No pressure fighting attributes. Gasses out really easily. Muscle bound. Weak chin. C-class trainer. I could probably go on and on.

Mayweather has got some people fooled on here if they say Ortiz deserves this fight. Lol.

He is a bit overrated but that really depends on who you ask. Just like with Mosley before his fight with Pbf, most people remembered the Marg fight but forgot the Mayorga fight. Same here, they forgot Ortiz fights with Madiana and Peterson because he had a great fight with Berto. It is not anybody fault. It is just that recent fights is easier to recall than previous one.

But as a boxing fan, can't complain. I'm hyped for this fight. With the exception of pac, pbf-ortiz is the best fight that can be made. It speaks volumes on the current status of the WW division. ughh. Also, this would be a good gauge for Pbf if and when he fights pac. Still hoping against hope for that one. Lolz.

Long before that, Floyd, Schaefer, DLH and other members of Floyd's team had publicly implied that Pac was a cheat, and that, more than anything else, was what killed the negotiations.

Arum is a skunk but by the time he broke the gagging order the negotiations had already ended.

Hopkins' reaction to Pascal's accusations is a good insight into why Pac reacted as he did at that time.

I think you're making your own assumptions which are simply false. Those public implications didn't stop Manny from sitting at the negotiating table. I think it's more reasonable to assume that the reason why the negotiations failed is because of what Manny flat out said: I am moving on because I am not willing to take a blood test within 24 days of the fight. And that he was agreeable to blood testing prior to. No need to twist the story.

Both Ortiz and Berto are overrated to begin with, especially Berto. Now, Ortiz is a half-baked star not yet primed up for the big leagues, yet him, his handlers and his fans think he's all that when he isn't up to snuff yet. They like to rush him but he's gonna get schooled so bad that instead of greatness, it would be a great ass whuppin that would be waiting for him.

I hope Mayweather doesn't make him quit again.

Definitely. Ortiz was the butt of all jokes until the Berto fight.

Ortiz showed a lot in a fight against Berto that many didn't think he would win. I think this is a good fight. Mayweather should win due to his experience and skill, but Ortiz will do his best to give Mayweather hell and knock him out. I like this fight a lot, and no matter what happens, Ortiz will have future big paydays in the future.

Ortiz beat Berto, which made him one of the top guys at ww, and aside from Pac this is the best fight to be made.

You can feel how you'd like about Ortiz, but he's fast, strong and has relatively solid boxing ability, and honestly, who else would be a fight of any importance at ww for Mayweather?
