Manny having to lose the extra weight for the weigh in will make a difference - that's obviously why he refused to go down to 140, even though he knew damn well that he would have got far more credit for beating Marquez at 140 than he'll get at 144, both now, and in terms of his legacy. If he thought it would make no difference, he would have had be certifiably insane to take the fight at any weight above 140. The proof is that no boxing historians consider this to be a meaningful fight, whereas they would have if it had been at 140.

      Umm...Yes that it's more legit than Pac-Marg, Pac-Mosley, and Pac-JMM III @ WW?

Of course, I said it. You have a reading comprehension of an adult right? Or is this a waste of time?

The fight hasn't happened because Floyd didn't really want it to. It's partly Pac's fault too, but bottom line, if Floyd had wanted to fight Pac, they'd have fought by now.

          It's more than partly bro.

I agree if Floyd had wanted to fight Pac, they'd have fought by now.

And, if Pacquiao had wanted to fight Floyd, they'd have fought by now.

          It takes 2 my friend.

Really Dave? Floyd keeps yelling take the tests over and over and over. Itys really not rocket science. Obviously the OSTs is an issue. The fighters cant come to an agreement on it.

You got Arum setting up fights months in adavance.

Before Pac even fought Clottey, Arum promised Margarito a Pac fight for November.

Before the sweat dried on Mosleys coward face Arum was setting up JMM-Pac 3. Before JMM can pour his first glass of piss , Arum is talking Pac-Bradley.

            Be a realist.

Yelling to the media isn't how you make a fight happen. In fact yelling to the media was what screwed up the original negotiations.

In the original negotiations, both fighters were partly to blame but Floyd was more to blame than Manny was. Subsequently, Floyd has made no serious attempt to re-enter negotiations, or to make any concessions in order to make the fight happen - quite the reverse - whereas Manny has made some concessions and has at least made a show of trying to get negotiations restarted.

You're right and who was yelling to the media? Top Rank who disregarded the mediator's gag order. In fact, Team Mayweather didn't issue a statement until after Manny had already pulled out. So who was to blame again?
