Comments Thread For: Roger Mayweather Rips Pacquiao, Ortiz a Better Fighter!

roger crackweather is at it again. pacquiao is a lousy fighter and easy to defeat, but they can't drop their testing crap. haha... what a joke of a logic. how does that even tally. easy fight, easy money... take the test pacman, you're too good to be real. lol.

you can tell they're so jealous of pacquiao and would rather defame and accuse him of cheating without any basis. the funny thing is they and their dumb supporters take pride in this drug testing crap, even selling t-shirts for it. haha... that's phuking embarrassing. about 90 percent of the world's population don't even take this testing crap seriously. he's scared of pacquiao. that's the general feeling. now he settles for an easier fight.

but keep on embarrassing yourselves homies. where can i buy these t-shirts, btw? lol.

Ortiz had his ups and downs in his career but he still was/is a good fighter. He put on a very good fight and while Pac is by far more experienced than Ortiz in the ring and under pressure. Ortiz was a better fight to make than Pac's last 4 opponents. As P4P#1 (supposedly) Pac should have fought Ortiz after Shane. Pac is making his money and ain't mad at that but how can his fans or anyone in that matter try to downplay Ortiz when he is one of the top 3 WW's in the division and Manny didn't even want to fight him. Same when Mosley was the top guy? Floyd made the right choice and this fight by far supersedes what Manny has done in a while.

all your quote states is that manny acknowledges ortiz's talents. pac was at 135 sparring with a physically bigger dude in ortiz... dont get it twisted. if you actually think that a noob ortiz was giving pac a hard time, then what do you think of spadafora schooling floyd ON TAPE... c'mon bro. dont read too much into it.

im glad you have folders on your desktop dedicated to your quotes... but you need to reread them. you have a tendency of overreacting to quotes.

thats like if *******s threw quotes about how floyd sr doesnt want floyd to fight manny... etc... etc... mayweathers are ALWAYS spewing things that can be twisting and used against them.

i can just imagine grustler with his password protected vault of manny, roach, ariza, & arum quotes. LOL.
Ok, then what does this mean to you....

"It's not so much that I give a damn whether this fight happens--I don't -- and for me it's not the greatest experience doing a promotion with Floyd Mayweather," Arum said. "But not to do this fight would slow down the momentum of boxing."

              Fight hasn't happened yet. Right?

              What about this one......

If this doesn't say it all about Bob Arum's intentions on making this fight. I don't know what will.

Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying“I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September. The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be."

              December 16th 2008
This one doesn't even have nothing to do with Floyd......

"Manny is not dull. He is the aggressor. He is an entertaining fighter and I believe that most people that bought the fight tonight bought it not with the expectation that Shane Mosley was going to win," said Arum of Pacquiao, who was coming off of November's unanimous decision over Antonio Margarito.

"They bought the Antonio Margarito fight not because they thought that he was going to win, but because they wanted to be entertained by Manny Pacquiao," said Arum. "Manny is a great fighter. That's why people are buying his fights now. He has achieved greatness."
Explain how can I twist up these quotes? Don't Manny Pacquiao say "Talk to my promoter"?. Floyd doesn't say "Talk to my pops". Whatever the case is. No way can I twist what is already true.

If Ortiz is a better fighter than Pacquiao, then why fight Ortiz? Why not fight Pacquiao who is the "lesser" fighter and make easy work, for more money? Pacquiao is one-dimensional, easy work for Floyd, why not fight Pacquiao then and make double or even triple the money you can make with damage-good Ortiz.

Suddenly all Floyd nuthuggers are making Ortiz look like P4P #1. If he continues to cherry pick opponents these way, I just hope karma catches up to him and Ortiz would land a lucky shot and embarrass his black ass.

Please put down the crack pipe Rodger. This is a nice fight and like many boxing fans, I'm looking forward to this fight. Floyd will win this fight but will continue to dance around and avoid Pacman at all cost afterwords.

Grus, I think he responded well enough to debunk what you normally depict as "proof, where you simply take someone else' quotes and apply your own preformed context to them. That's all well and good, except you have a narrative that you like to keep pushing. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but on the other side of that equation, it's presumptuous of you to think that you're right. What weight did they spar at? Was it competitive at a time when Manny hadn't hit the pique of his talents? And if it was...then what does that say about Ortiz who has been inconsistent at best. It's more of an indictment on him that anyone else. And for the record I'm not a *******. I think it's time that Manny starts stepping up his competition again.

agree. floyd did the right thing by signing with ortiz... like i stated before, ortiz has the tools to be competitive, but at this stage, he is not ready for floyd. this is another high-profile tune-up (although floyd immediately retires afterward... so should it be considered a tune-up??)

the only thing that bothers me is that floyd CHOOSES to make moves when pac is contractually obligated...
                      • pac signs with clottey; floyd grabs opportunity to fight shane (great move).
                      • pac signs with margs; floyd goes attention-starved rant.
                      • pac signs with shane; again, floyd goes straight to the media
                      • pac signs with jmm; floyd signs with ortiz (great move again)

to me, i find it very convenient that when pac is contractually free, floyd is silent and is not thinking about boxing... then once pac signs, floyd is quick to make his moves... whether it be verbal attention-whoring or signing a fight.

yes, "take the test" argument applies... but when floyd states that there are NO NEGOTIATIONS happening, even if pac agreed, it is null.

pac is completely guilty for choosing undeserving opponents, but when pac is available to sign a fight, floyd disappears.

i would LOVE for floyd to have the contract signed & delivered putting the ball in pac's court... calling out pac OFFICIALLY. but instead, we get the "take the test" argument/propaganda even if floyd is "not thinking about boxing"... its like when pac "agrees to all testing" yet there is no papers signed...
