I feel you and I didn't mean to come off like I was directing anything at you. All I'm trying to say, is that all of those quotes on a larger scale, need to be viewed in context. Arum is a promoter, whatever he says is truth today, lies tomorrow, so I know personally to immediately to discount anything this guy says. Also he's an attorney, if anyone knows an attorney, or works closely with them, you know what I'm referring to. I do agree with you that Pac needs to step up his competition because he's beginning to damage his brand and tarnish his reputation.

I like Ortiz for Mayweather, especially with being off for so long, Ortiz def ain't no soft touch, so I give him (May) credit for that. I can only hope that Mayweather engages in tough fights from here on out, and by that I mean Martinez at 154.

He said that he doesn't care if the fight happens or not and he doesn't like doing business with Mayweather. Then he says, he hopes Mayweather stays retired as long as possible because the more rusty he will be? Then he says that Manny is entertainment and that no one expected Margarito and Shane to win but rather to see Pac fight? Arum is talking about his own man. The guy he gets money with. Do you think he would say that stuff if he didn't mean it? If I was Pac's promoter I wouldn't be speaking on certain aspects of business regarding Pac and Mayweather. He basically says that he wants Floyd to stay retired longer before he fights Pac to be rusty? What do you get from that? Tell me, what do you get from this one......

if ortiz is a way better fighter than pac,then i dont see why jr wouldnt fight pac for possibly the biggest purse in the history of boxing!!! i dont get the mayweathers...they say pac is one dimensional, pac fights like an amatuer, will be an easy fight, will whoop pacs azz whether or not he uses PEDS or not, etc...

but in the end, they will hide and avoid pac at all cost :wank:

Sad day in Boxing when you got a young Lion like Ortiz picking on these old timers like Pac and Mayweather. Hope Mayweather can survive.
