Would size(weight) be a big factor in Pacquiao-JMM III?

I've always believed in CATCHWEIGHT...because it is an agreed compromise between the two. And if both fighters "can meet in the middle of their comfortable weight" then we would have a relatively "fairer" fight.

    I would say 140.

      lol at patards saying no

so Mayweather making JMM move up two weight divisions was wrong, but it's okay if Pac does it because they're the same height?

      Ya'll some nuthuggers...

this is another cherry pick by Pac. Of course the weight plays a role. Didn't you guys see Marquez's body composition against Mayweather? He was bloated, and didn't look like the Marquez Pac fought at 130 from a physical perspective. It will be better than Pac's last couple of fights, but they picked him at the right time

Why is it weight a factor?

Packy fought many times in a handicap weight --- winning all the time.

I don't think Pacquiao is gonna respect Marquez's power, not at this weight.
Even at 135 Manny was real sturdy as he want draining himself to make 130. I think he has to work some but not nearly as hard to make 135 as he is usually 141-142 the morning of the fight w/o trying to cut weight during any point in his training camp. I bring this up because outside of being drained, Marquez power isn't going to phase Manny when you consider he has take shots from Marg Cotto Clottey and Hatton (who are all bigger punchers than Marquez).

Of course weight is going to be an issue, its a reason why there are weight divisions in boxing. Idiots in here think that muscle weight vs fat weight vs water weight give you the same type of benefit. Hilarious.
