He said because the odds are not in Pacquiao's favor that's why he won't fight Martinez. There I answered your questions.

As you conveniently left out Manny did not start his career at welterweight, he started it at 108. Every fighter has a maxout wieght class and Manny has reached his. To think he has to continually jump higher weight classes is ridiculous and has never been asked of anyone else. He is not Superman.
Just look at how hard it is for natural welterweights to move up and win the middleweight title, even great welterweights with a big punch. Look what happened to Felix Trinidad, a big tall natural welter, he looked small and weak compared to a natural middleweight Bernard Hopkins. Oscar De La Hoya, a tall welterweight again failed to defeat the middleweight champ. Not to mention he looked so much smaller against Hopkins and it was obvious Hopkins was too strong for him. Now you want Manny who is 4-5 " shorter than Trinidad and Del la Hoya, and probably walks around at 30-40 lbs lighter than Oscar and Trinidad to move up and fight the middleweight champ. Why are you not asking MArtinez to move up and fight Bute? That is a reasonable question that needs to be answered by morons like yourself.
Ah so its ok to weaken fighters to cover up your too small just so you can win and say how great you are beating a bigger " weakened " opponent coming of terrible losses , but when its a fair fight he wants to CW up or down to make it unfair , Pac is a media created hype job .

Cotto your too big you must be 145 , JMM your to small you must be 144 . Shane your too good we will wait till you look like crap , nothing but BS surrounding Pacs fights .

Who went up in weight to fight Hatton, Cotto, De La Hoya, Mosley, and Clottey?

If Manny is really the greatest of all time, he should fight Sergio?? You know why? Because all the other ATGs moved up in weight, Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler.

          Why not Pacquiao?
The fight is going to happen. All Sergio has to to is to keep on winning! But 1st thing 1st! Pac has to finish the unfinished Business that is the Ducking Floyd! Once that is out of the way & Sergio is still standing then we will have that fight!

Sergio has no right to dictate the terms. He's not the Man! Pac it is!

I cant say that he only appears to be on PEDS , I dont trust him the moment he ducked the fight for Clottey , he has tried his hardest to duck the testing , why would anyone want to water down a PEDS test , he has NO honor .

Just like when SRL moved up to MW, it was because there was no more big Paydays at WW left, so he moved up.

You can't blame Sergio for wanting to make money, because Bob Arum surely makes sure Pacquiao does.

I can understand that. But Sergio hasn't accomplish what Pac and Floyd has done. Pac just want money fights now and you can't blame him for that. Pac is getting old too and the wear and tear will catch up too him real soon.

Sergio can move down and beats the like of Cotto, Alvarez, and Chavez Jr, but the only real money fight is Cotto. Chavez Jr. has ppv fights but its not really bringing in numbers. If Canelo keeps winning, he will be a money maker but that would be 2-3 years from now, then (assuming) Sergio will be in decline by that time.

Sergio can beat some of the Super Six fighters and Bute. If he fights Kessler, Abraham, or Froch in Europe, he can make good money over there. Sad to say, Ward and Dirrell doesn't attract crowds compare to the European fighters i mentioned. With his style, Sergio can frustrate and beat Bute and make a good payday. The problem with this is Sergio has to fight Bute and Canada. Remember the 1st Andrade fight that save Lucian and Pascal's draw against Hopkins.

                  • I agree. Manny Pacquiao should fight Sergio Martinez but there is a catch. Martinez needs to agree to fight Pacquiao at 150lbs a day before the fight the weight-in or Fight Pacquiao at 154lbs and the weight-in is on Fight night just like the old school or Fight him at 154lbs and the weight is a day before the fight and he cannot rehydrate more than 156lbs.

This is fair for both side...

Your not suggesting that Sergio come down to 147 or 135 are you?? Because that sounds like your trying to make him a non threat.
When somebody is shy, he can't make 154. He can't even make 147 limit of ww.
