Actually I would prefer him to go back down to 140 and fight at his real weight and try to clean house there because there are a lot of good fighters in their prime right now. At 147 there is nothing left and Pac has been fighting bigger guys for a while now, 3 UD's in a row. I think his skills & power would be much more clear for people to see at his natural weight.

It like asking, if Martimez is great , why don't he step up and fight in Heavyweight. Atlas is an IDIOTS.

Pac fans cut the crap. Enough. You guys know this has nothingt o do with weight. Its all about Pac and his fans being afraid to deal with a figher with Sergios style and power.

This dude fought a 168 Clottey and a 165 Pound Margarito. So cut it out.

"I will go on record and say this though, if Pacquiao was to go up and beat Sergio Martinez, no disrespect to Ray Robinson or any of those guys, but he will be, in my book, the baddest mother****er to ever put on a pair of gloves (laughing). I wouldn't **** with Martinez. Pacquiao is a ****ing fighter though man, but if he fights Martinez and wins, I give him the game".

Some of you reading this better hope and pray that the trend of threads like this one being bumped after Manny does what many said he should/couldn't do stops, otherwise what Brother Naz said will be the general consensus in the Sports World...

Something tells me that a year and 1/2 or so from now, this will be bumped after Sergio goes overnight from #1 P4P fighter in the world to a washed up, overrated, weight-drained bum who was paid to lose and A-Side Meth does him in.

If he beats Martinez at 154 or 160 then its an epic win. But noen of this 149 or 150 crap.

Pac fighting a prime fighter would be good enough for me whether at 140 or 147. No more Mosley,Margarito fights can't believe people buy into those fights there money making fights to make his record look better.

No one should expect him to fight Martinez.

Ortiz? that would be a real fight, Im gunna say Ortiz can hurt and give Pacquiao problems don't hate.

                      Pacquiao-Ortiz=

Ortiz does absolutely nothing that would bother Pac, everyone has already forgotten this is the guy who was beaten like a drum into submission by Maidana and drew with Peterson. One win over an overrated tomato can killer doesn't bring you up to Manny's level. Horrible mismatch, would result in Ortiz's very early retirement.
