It still does not change the fact that margarito was more of a threat than Baldomir. In fact, Floyd was petrified on Margarito.

If Floyd was that easy to beat he would have lost already, Margarito ain't nothing special. They presented the same threat level, the only thing different about them is hype.

Yet he deliberately avoided Margarito like a plague. Say what you want on Mrgarito just like Floyd made excuses but at the end of the day, Floyd conveniently ducked him. That was the fight that most people want to see.

Because he was extricating himself from Arum, to get the money he would have had to resign which would have meant no Oscar. After that Arum used Floyd's name excessively to build guys names even though he wasn't even trying to work with Floyd and the feeling was mutual so your conclusion seems off to me.

It had to do with money (a shot at Oscar) not fear, people didn't really care about that fight as Floyd wasn't even that big at that point it wasn't until after Oscar that Floyd got big and people really cared about him.

Margarito is a dime a dozen in terms of historical relevance so making a big deal about him is pretty laughable.

            Yep.

Some people always conveniently forget what Mayweather said when he was asked about fighting Margarito. After stating that Margarito wasn't popular enough, Floyd said,

"We not fighting to prove to the boxing fans who, who the best is..."

not a really fair being as though Floyd has way more fights at that weight....Floyd beat the top dude in the division TWICE....still ran out the side door to avoid that undefeated Cotto though...not saying Cotto would've won...but at least Floyd would have a recent win that ppl would RESPECT to the fullest....I like the way he fought Shane...thats just me, I give him credit for that....but that Cotto win would've been sweeter than the Sugar one

                Blame it on Arum. Smh.

Look you can twist and turn but at the end if the day Floyd was scared of Margarito. What's laughable is why Floyd was scared on someone that is nothing special.

Most people want to see Floyd and Margarito - Floyd cherrypick Baldomir

Most people want to see Floyd and Cotto -Floyd took a vacation.

Most people want to see Floyd and PAC. Floyd took another vacation.

There's always a routine for Floyd when a threat comes his way.

You seem to be the one twisting things to suit your view~

The chain of events goes as follows

Floyd moved to 147 beat Sharmba Mitchell.

                    Beat Zab Judah

Bought himself out from Arum to line up Oscar but Oscar wanted to wait and Floyd had to fight someone he picked Baldomir who was the champ and did not have to lock himself up with Arum.

                    Floyd beat Baldomir

Floyd beat Oscar became a star and made a bunch of cash

Arum really starts to use Floyd name to build Margarito with the most feared man stuff.

Floyd beats Hatton for another fat stack of cash.

Floyd stops fighting because he has just made a mint and boxing is not a game that is very forgiving long term.

Arum continues to use Floyd's name to build guys hype

Floyd gets in some money trouble and comes back

Floyd fights JMM in a fight JMM asked for and makes a bunch of cash. It also helps out GBP (who Floyd owed a favor to) by doing something for JMM.

                    Floyd-Manny bull shit

Floyd lines up Mosley which was the next best fight

Floyd beats Mosley and makes even more money

Floyd doesn't fight anyone because he doesn't need to at this point.

The only pattern I see is Floyd fighting when he needs to~ and arum using Floyd's name to build hype for his guys~

No he didn't~ in the record books it is a win.

And if a guy loses 5 of the first 6 round it is next to impossible to win a decision and JLC did not sweep the final 6 rounds. JLC should have started earlier then maybe you would have a point.
