Action speaks louder than words. Floyd pulled a lot excuses not to fight Margarito. He was scared just like he is now with Pacquaio. Also Floyd abruptly retired when Cotto was beating everyone. Same case scenario again with Pacquiao. History keep repeating itself and Floyd apologists are too gullible to acknowledge it.

This right here can't be stressed enough. Titles don't mean s h i t. Getting in the ring and f#cking someone top tier does. I mean for gods sake look at Salido. He can ask for a Gamboa rematch, lose again and Gamboa would have the title. That wouldn't be so hard for Gamboa to win a title considering he already beat Salido. Beating Salido to win that title wouldn't do sh it for Gamboa's legacy. Just like floid and his ***git titles he won off of boneheads that weren't top tier. I don't give a **** if he lost... Thats his problem... Point is Oscar was making BIG moves in reaching to fight B-Hop for lineal MW and losing narrowly to Shane in his next-to-previous. Floyd beat a legit Oscar who was a comfortable WBC champ a JMW. Floyd has taken big breaks from boxing and still comes back and dominates.

Floyd's fight vs Marquez was plain garbage. Marquez went up two weight classes, floyd came in heavier than the limit by two pounds and floyd couldn't hurt the tinier man. Floyd is a waste of space in the WW division. Cotto's run in WW beats floyd's.

Hatton was a top 140 fighter and had yet to lose at that weight when Manny fought him.

Cotto's previous fight was fought at 146 while against Manny 145. Not a big difference PLUS there were no comments stating he had problems making the weight. Cotto, who you said was a shell of himself now has a title at 154. Not bad, hey?


Morales I and II were great fights. You can't take anything away from them as Morales was even winning and had control of the 2nd fight by about the 5-6th round .... At that point, HBO commentators were saying Manny may be too small for 130 ......Manny had a couple of huge rounds that turned that fight around.
