Ortiz landed 2 jabs vs Peterson, so what's he gonna do about Floyd? for his career, Ortiz land not even 1.5 jabs per round.

Manny landed over 60 jabs vs cotto.

    Please drop your jab argument.

Haven't we heard this before? Someone else being more dangerous for Floyd than Manny? Namely....Mosley? I'd like to see the fight, I think it would be a good tune-up since he's been off a year. The only question that I have is, will GBP be willing to put him in there with Mayweather yet?

So Ortiz has a better chance than Pacquiao because of his jab, consistency, and fundamentals. I can't believe we're talking about the same guy I've seen fight.

I have never seen him jab effectively one time.

He's incredibly inconsistent both between fights and during the same fight. That's been a big knock on him. What happened against Peterson in his last fight?

As far as fundamentals I've seen him squaring up and getting rocked frequently in each fight.

He was under rated before and is only 24 so he still has a bright future, but there's a reason he wasn't considered elite at 140.

The key for me, is that Ortiz is a lefty, but not a fighting lefty like Manny, but one who is capable of working his openings off the jab, but one who also has power and skill.

Mayweather might be on another level in terms of skills, but I dont think Manny is on that level either.

The best Manny would do against Mayweather imo, is make him fight at a slightly faster pace than he would like to, albeit still get hit with the cleaner punches whilst trying to apply that pressure.

Manny can only mount attacks from other angles after he's pinned you down with his first punch, but what happens when you take away his left hand, his set up punch?

If you have a leaky defense, you aren't going to beat Mayweather.
Churruuuch. Stop Mayweather from scoring and you can win the fight.. I ve been saying this for years. His output is to low. Manny learns defense, a major flaw in roach fighters btw, he'd be the got damn GOAT.

Manny would be more difficult cause of the angles everytime Manny throws his straight Left he either leans to his left or steps to his left this will prevent Mayweather shoulder roll from throwing counters because he likes to throw an uppercut or straight right and Pacquiao won't be there to get hit. Either way Mayweather avoids both. He'll fight lightwieght jail bird Spadafora who's a safer bet at keeping his conterversial 0

Floyd will turn Ortiz's lights out. I love that kid but berto landed at will. So will Floyd.
