the fact he said the ortiz berto fight could have gone either way

      are you kidding????????????

berto did not win more than 2 rounds............

obviously madaina is a bit biased....

also, ortiz knocks madaina out at 147, an old morales had him rocked in the

      8th round.

at 147 ortiz is a physical beast, fighting fresh with vigor.....

he didnt have to coast the last 4 rounds like he used to....

i think the rematch should be made...

i say ortiz knockout in 4......

yes it will be early, these guys like to fight and although i like madaina

and would pick him against ortiz again at 140, he gets thoroughly white

washed and destroyed at 147 against ortiz...

at 147 ortiz is in his physical prime weight.....
you're basing all this off of one fight with berto? maidana hasn't even fought at 147 yet...

There's no logic in your statement.

Victor Ortiz was better off just saying that he quit but now he knows better because the fight with Berto proved that he has heart. Ortiz needs to stop fronting because I saw the fight and Maidana had Victor on ***** street. Ortiz is lying because he actually said "I'm too young to take a beating like this". That's called a copp out. Berto erased that memeory so no need to deny the past Victor Ortiz because we all saw that you quit.

And berto also have poor foot work, and throws wide punches. berto also has average boxing skills.

Add the fact that berto is chinny and also have stamina problems. Berto is not that good and never was. Dude was lucky to be number 3 at 147 due to the fact that cotto, marg, shane, all beat eachother up and then get embarassed by either floyd or pacquaio to the elimination. You notice since collazo fight that he feed jr welterweights. The funny part is that he lost to another hypejob.

Tell me do you think berto can beat margarito especially with his stamina is just as bad as a shot shane.

lol instead of arguing with idiots I'm gonna laugh at you instead. Maidanas power is not proven at a higher level bottom line. get over it, he could not knock out a tired Khan with flush shots, Prescott was able to KO Khan and finish him, there is no arguing this statement, same guy who couldn't KO a one eyed Morales with flush shots. Power is over rated. to argue this means your dumb .

No he doesn't. He just understands one fighter. Even then, he still don't understand. Being a fan of one fighter only has its disadvantages when it comes to be knowledgable about the sport..

Maidana's been fighting at 140 since he went pro. I don't think 147 would be that much of a deal. If they both want a rematch then they should make the fight at 144.

If the fight is made I think Victor would win this one. At least this time he'll know what he's up against. Anyway Maidana should rematch Morales before Victor.

why do I have to keep posting Urango was the only Jr Welter since Crayton Bertos 15th fight and before his fight with Ortiz who was big for Jww. Chin issues are gone, did he get knocked out, nope he was still boxing, the punches is what made him look like he had stamina issues, which he has never had before, he usually turns it on later in the fight. Neither Berto or Ortiz are hype jobs. SMH

First of all Prescott fights at 135 which has already been shown not to be Khan's best weight.

Secondly Maidana did some serious damage on Ortiz with powerful shots. You don't quit by getting hit with pillows.
