    THIS!

I was VERY surprised Victor came in at 161 on fight night. I always found him big at Jr WW but he definitely seems to have taken better to WW, a larger one at that. Berto was scared the minute Victor bombed him in the 1st and realized the "kid" he thought would be a cakewalk was a monster.

Maidana did compete with Khan, who has better footwork/hand speed than both Victor & Andre and also when "slick boxers" like Malinaggi & McCloskey couldn't compete. You knock Maidana's lack of KO vs Morales, but, in Erik's entire career he has only been stopped twice and that was Pacquaio both times.
good post, I'm not the only one knocking it, Morales said it himself, he didn't really.hit me with anything, he had nothing. Morales doubts his power too, doubted it before the fight. At least we can agree Pacs power at super feather is apparently bigger than Maidanas at 140

Berto wasn't scared, he lost his confidence when Ortiz walked through his shots and was confused, had no guidance from his corner. scared boxers don't lay on the ropes telling their opponent to bring on more. He just didn't know what to do.

idk, victor is still chinny and maidana will only be stronger at 147, it'll be another fight close to their first

Maidana could beat Ortiz again, i can't see why people would write Maidana's chances off when he has already put a physical and mental beating on Ortiz before.

Great fight thats should be made.

What tells you that Maidana will be stronger at 147?

Correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't Maidana recently state that he is willing to face Manny and mayweather or anyone for that matter at 140 and 147?? If so, why would fighting Ortiz at 147 suddenly become a problem seeing as he made him quit?!?!?
