Secondly Maidana did some serious damage on Ortiz with powerful shots. You don't quit by getting hit with pillows.
jww doesn't seem to be Ortiz best weight either, should had moved to 147 long ago
it was the first time Ortiz had been in a war, at that point in time Maidana was the hardest hitting guy Ortiz had faced. hence the issues with his heart.

I don't. It's just a sport and should be debated and disagreed on maturely. Just because another poster's opinion doesn't match up to yours doesn't mean a person should be insulted. The only time I insult anyone on here is when they try to question my intelligent by disrespecting me and not even saying anything to make me look like I don't know what I'm talking about. The other day some Klitscho fan gave me "red k" because I said that the Tyson who beat Spinks, would beat the Klitscho's. More fantism on here than anything.

Add the fact that berto is chinny and also have stamina problems. Berto is not that good and never was. Dude was lucky to be number 3 at 147 due to the fact that cotto, marg, shane, all beat eachother up and then get embarassed by either floyd or pacquaio to the elimination. You notice since collazo fight that he feed jr welterweights. The funny part is that he lost to another hypejob.

Tell me do you think berto can beat margarito especially with his stamina is just as bad as a shot shane.
Andre Berto was a very good win for Victor Ortiz. No vacant title on the line. Ortiz took the belt by beating an undefeated Andre Berto. Nobody thought Ortiz was going to win that fight, so lets not start fronting.

I hear what you are saying fam but Victor Ortiz quit against Marcos Maidana. No matter what he was going through, he can't and shouldn't deny that fact. Makes him look weaker especially since he had such a dominate performance against an undefeated Andre Berto.

The truth is that Victor was impressive in this fight but was not as impressive in the Peterson fight. Styles make fights.

These guys should just rematch because talk is cheap.

You'll keep insulting each other based on opinions. That ain't smart. Debate a point if you beleive in it.

Ortiz is feeling himself right now, talking big. the fact is he never had to fight like that before, he didn't know how to take it, got frustrated and quit, it was disappointing as I was a fan of his. He was smiling when he said he didn't want to continue, it was a combo of the cut, hard shots and feeling uncomfortable something he never felt before. I'm just saying Maidana has over rated power

Maidana is tough as nails and throws hard punches but has woeful defensive skills . Yes he made a young immature Ortiz quit , no debate . Berto now knows what it is like to fight someone that can take a punch and deliver one . Ortiz might be mentally fragile , not sure he could hold his own against PBF or Pac . He sure looked great Saturday night and Berto sitting on the ropes saying hit me looked foolish since he had already been knocked down several times . What HBO lost in the exposure of Berto , they more than made up for in great fight .

Berto had no back up plan, his corner was ****** that night, he was confused. He was trying to prove his chin, but you would think he would exchange and not cover up. pressure can do weird things in the ring. Berto def has to go back to the drawing board, work on his foot work, throw short punches instead of throwing long, he should had used his speed, jab and body work early, break Ortiz down, then use his power later, instead he was loading up and it almost worked but he got careless,

Are you saying that Victor Ortiz has overrated durability then? Because he sure did make Ortiz quit with the punishment he put on him.
