Maidana seems like the kinda boxer who will fight anybody anywhere as long as they are in the same weight class. I believe him when he says he wasn't offered a rematch by team Ortiz. Why would Team Ortiz want a immediate rematch after Maidana whooped his ass?

Ortiz did what he was supposed to do against a paper champion. Maidana would've easily beat Berto as well although he would've definatly gotten at least 1 point taken away for rabbit punching if they had the same douchebag referee.

Ortiz couldn't handle the pressure, couldn't handle the cut, didn't want to go to war just to win a fight, Ortiz was up 48-45 before the 6th round, styles make fights, some fighters don't like pressure, Maidana hit him harder than he had been until that point in his career.
