Manny walked away from the biggest fight in the history of the sport over drug testing. Floyd even met him half way on the cut off that he wanted at the mediation and he still walked away.
You've been doing it. Why can't I?
Floyd paid the fine because he knew he couldn't make 144, I think that is pretty obvious. And, I thought that he should have came in that weight with that was what he agreed to, absolutely. But that in NO WAY does that warrant a 10 million dollar penalty for every pound that he would be over 147. And yea, every fighter has every right to ask for a fair fight IF THEY THINK that their opponent may be cheating. I get upset when you guys think that cheating doesn't happen just because this situation involves a fighter you personally like and one you guys don't like. And besides, if Manny is the clean fighter that he says he is, better testing should NOT be an issue-- at all. But after the way he and his team blew up about, there is no way they are going to fight without the testing.
As I said on many occasions, he isn't really in it to clean up the sport. Now, that may happen as a result, but that wasn't his purpose. He wants his fights to be clean, how can you knock a man for that? And what do you mean solid evidence? We could have alot of evidence one way or the other, but one person is stopping that from happening.
