obviously, Roy dominated it apart from that. but to claim that the knockdown was mostly a slip is ludicrous.

I take everything I said about Haye back.

Why? Because he just deleted my comment on Facebook.

He asked to name a good bet for the Grand National and I replied -

'Bet on Hayestacks. I heard it's a good runner.'

      ***** deleted it haha.

roy slipped while moving around like twice without getting hit in the previous rounds, how is it unfathomable that part of what cost that knockdown was a slip? who even falls like that on clean punch?

did you not see his legs give out and stiffen up? or his vacant expression after getting hit?

its not even a big deal since every great fighter has been hurt at points in their career, but stop trying to rewrite history.

who said i was re-writing history? it was ruled a knockdown, he got punched simple as that. roy looked completely embarrassed that he even fell at that point in the fight. i'm just seeing it differently than you obviously are. but to completely rule out my opinion despite the fact of what was happening all thru out the fight is ludicrous.

you said the knockdown occurred mostly because Roy slipped. thats just flat out wrong. He was hurt from the punch and fell solely from that, the look of the fall was the only thing that was changed by the wet floor.

If Jones had a great chin and one punch KO power at HW, then he would be able to hang with Haye, but he doesn't, so I don't see it. Haye's size and power advantages would be too much. Let's be honest, Haye might have a lot of haters, but he has skills and fights clever. Be realistic.
We don't know if Jone's had 1 punch KO power as a heavyweight as he fought only 1 time...and won at a walk from a very difficult, several time, high ranking champion, whom most fighters didn't want to fight. He had KO power all his career from his amateur days. Carried it up, as he went up in weight. So why, suddenly. can you decide that he didn't have 1 punch KO power at heavyweight. Of course you can decide what you wish.

And what difference whether he had or had not. He could punch an opponent a dozen times, whilst the guy was still trying to hitch up his trunks.

LMAO are you kidding me? The Gaye hype is getting out of hand. It wouldn't be a foregone conclusion but of course prime Roy would have a chance to beat Haye, in fact Roy would be the favourite in my view, something like 60-40.
