Jones never had a great chin, and against Haye, his superb athleticism which allowed him to avoid being hit, would be somewhat negated by Haye's own athleticism and power.

If Jones had a great chin and one punch KO power at HW, then he would be able to hang with Haye, but he doesn't, so I don't see it. Haye's size and power advantages would be too much. Let's be honest, Haye might have a lot of haters, but he has skills and fights clever. Be realistic.

Roy woulda won by UD! Roy would have been too fast for Haye he woulda kept his distance and out boxed Haye easy. Id give Haye a punchers chance but no1 could touch Roy let alone hit him in his prime.

I'd say Jones would probably UD him all day long. Haye just doesn't throw enough punches to beat Jones IMHO even with the size advantage.
Jones could get a UD, but remember Haye would most likely go in light and he did have a decent workrate at 200.

If the Ruiz fight is to go by, then Haye has a shot to hit Roy plenty.

how can you say that if Jones went basically 50-0 before he ever get KO'd? He was 35/36 years old by the time he finally got KO'd...

Haye was knocked out by Thompson, Roy could hurt Haye. Roy had immense power and speed. I give Roy a very good chance at beating Haye, certainly.

Yea it hard to tell cause Ive never seen Roy take a good shot from any1, so it hard to tell if he had a chin or not all i know is that Tarver caught him hard and that broke him as a fighter.

iT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE HAS A CHIN OR NOT on a high level, it is defense that matters because if you let haye hit you too much, then you will go down.

I think one punch KO was a bit of an exaggeration on my part, but he does have the ability to turn around any fight with one punch. He knocked Ruiz down with a straight right like 30 seconds into their fight. And had him hurt many times. He hurt a guy who outweighed him by 100 pounds and he didn't even throw many punches in that fight.

His power is legit and I don't think Roy would be able to handle it. Maybe RJJ does find a way to avoid all of Haye's power punches and does outbox him to a UD... but I think Haye finds a way to catch him and eventually stops him in the later rounds.

Precisely, he was 35-36 when he first got KO'd. About the time he started losing the legs and reflexes that allowed him to avoid taking too many big shots. Draining down back to LHW may have had the greatest effect on Jones' chin, but in my opinion, it probably wasn't great to start with.
