Yea I mean I wouldn't put anything past a prime Roy, he would have definitely boxed circles around Haye.

Haye is much bigger but prime Roy was amazing.

I'm not trying taking anything away from Roy Jones though. He's one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen in my life, but I think he's too small to take the punches from a Heavyweight with one punch KO power like Haye.
Haye hasn't one punch KO'd any heavyweights though, he only has TKO's at that weight, and he'd have an awfully hard time hitting a prime Jones who would be fast as hell at 193 vs. Haye at 215.

I'd say Jones would probably UD him all day long. Haye just doesn't throw enough punches to beat Jones IMHO even with the size advantage.

Happens to the best of us man, I was in love with Alexis Arguello, when he got KO'd by that cheater Pryor, I was devastated.

Haye has only had 4 fights at HW. And I didn't use Ruiz as an example of how fighter A could beat fighter B.

The question is did he ever have a chin or did the drop back to 175 kill him. He took some good shots from Ruiz.

Whatever you say about Roy, Haye was fast enough and has the most power Roy would have faced. Roy would get hurt.

A chin is a chin and Roy was fast enough to exploit guys, but Haye is certainly able to catch Roy and KO him.

It did... but, at this point I am pretty numb to him losing... it still sucks but expected at this point... the Calzaghe loss hurt, I'll be honest. Winning 3 fights in a row and looking decent, and then fighting Calzaghe it couldnt be anymore clear that Roy was half of what he used to be...

Like Prime Roy would stand there with his glvoes up while his opponent sticks his face into his gloves.

                    Would never happen.

Well, I feel you need a great chin to take Haye on now, and definitely a defence. Roy was very open.

Yes maybe it could be said when he dropped down, it was very bad for him, but even if he had Hopkin's chin, he was still very open for shots.
