At least be impartial TS, you put SD for Mayweather-Oscar yet you don't do the same for Cotto-Clottey????? Putting Foreman really? Alfonso Gomez > Foreman. Btw Marg is stylistically a nightmare for Cotto... he would've beaten him either way (not excusing him if he did indeed had plaster hands but nothing has been proven). Cotto's resume at WW is better than Floyd's but I Floyd's overall resume beats Cotto's. There's a reason why Cotto's never been top p4p.

Cotto will leave a greater legacy in the sport than Mayweather!

Cotto got beat by Margarito fair and square. As far as we know. So, no asterisks.
Certainly, the outcome of the fight was congruent with my prediction of it. Cotto simply can not handle a high-level version of that style. He was not the complete fighter he was believed to be by many in early 2008.

It isn't to do with the comparative quality of their respective bodies of work at all.

We can do this all day and night. The upshot is, you're biased here.
And, as illustrated in an earlier post, your "lesser opposition" claim is bogus (LOL @ implying the Mosley who Cotto fought was somehow "prime" by comparison to the one who fought Floyd).

better resume doesnt always the better fighter though. but Cotto is definitely a hall of famer when they look back at what he accomplished and the level of oppositions he faced. there is no doubt Cotto will still fighting the best out there.
