All great boxers have got great early careers, that is afterall what makes them known and great in the first place. Cotto was the best thing since sliced bread almost before he lost to Margarito and Pac.

So Floyd is relying too much on his early career, and lets face it most people dont know about it, so dont care.

Even though Cotto has as many good wins as Floyd, Floyd should beating Zab Judah better. Credit where credit is due. But then Cotto gets credit for beating a prime SSM and softening him up for Floyd.

Oh my god in heaven. *******s, *******s, *******s. Once again representing the group well my boy.

I have already witnessed guys that try and fight like Floyd~

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery~
        You're perfectly right.

Cotto faced ALL the dangerous fighters of the WW division: Mosley, Pac, Margarito... no matter what, he got in the ring.

Mayweather? On "vacation", thank you. Cotto will be remembered as a fearless man, win, lose or draw. Mayweather? The biggest puss in boxing history.

        There's your legacy.

          • I recently called the Webster's dictionary and proposed that they substitute the word gay for the more suitable sounding Mayweather. They actually took it into consideration!!

This is complete and utter bull****.

Evander Holyfield, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ali, Tyson, Duran, Hearns, Whitaker, Jones, what was the tail end of their career like?

Think before you write such garbage.

Allthough, i see where you're coming from, your argument is invalid also....

Evander Holyfield tail end of his career, absolute garbage, he should of retired a long time ago....

Sugar Ray Leonard, why would u come back to fight after like what 6 years????

Ali, could've beat those guys he lost to easily in his prime....

                Tyson, nothing to be said....

Duran, was in it for a paycheck at the end...

Jones, nothing to be said about that.....

Allthough I could still see floyd fighting for at least 5 more years if he was active, but he's too afraid of losing, i don't think he's afraid of fighting, he's afraid of losing.

The fact that their careers finished poorly is the point I'm making. People won't doubt those fighters greatness despite the fact they finished on low notes because they look at their career as a whole.

But all those guys STILL challenged themselves, even past it. Floyd ran from boxing at his best. It's not the same...

All those guys were completely past their primes when they kept going, and still looked for top guys

Floyd entered the WW at his physical peak and spent the 6 years doing a whole lot of nothing. Apples to oranges
