Margarito is a natural jr MW just like you said Williams is a natural middleweight. Now the win against Williams has nothing taken away cause Martinez did not ask for the catchweight Williams did and according to your logic Martinez was a jr MW (being the smaller guy) when he fought Williams the second time and crushed him then decided to full y move up to middleweight. now Martinez fought a much bigger guy in Williams and Pavlik (who really is a natural middleweight even super) then he defended his title against one of the best who came in weighing 159 (same as Martinez) and having never been knocked out. Now Pac has fought Clottey who didnt deserve a shot and didnt throw a punch, a drained and flat footed Margarito who didnt deserve a shot, and now Mosely who got steam rolled by Mayweather and looked bad against Mora.

Now im not saying Pac isnt good he is but what im saying is he choice of opponets lately has dropped him down to #2 and maybe #3
bro hatton is undefeated at 140..he aint bad those times..so please dont downplay pacs achievements...in a different thread i posted that the margarito and mosley fight is a joke...

williams and martinez happened in a catchweight bro..dont twist it!! don **** on pac for fighting at a catchweight when everybody is doing it...doesnt matter who initiated it but the fact is they both agreed...

if martinez beat pirog or ward or bute last week there is no doubt in my mind that he is p4p number1..i love sergio....but he beat a junior middleweight...is that number one p4p 2 u?? who is DZ?? who has he beaten?? i would love for sergio to fight sturm or pirog..atleast both is at 160...

in the lower weight sergio is like donaire.......donaire beat a prime darch and a prime montiel.....but they are not p4p number one because they need to do more....oh well p4p is subjective..i can put donaire in my number1 easy...if its only a matter of opinion...but its not...well we have to leave it to the saying "to each his own"

i like how you said he was undefeated at 140. Who did he beat? i didnt twist it i admitted it but it was Williams who wanted it which means that he was the bigger guy cause why would Martinez who was a Jr MW ask to go higher and he stated that he hates catchweights. So that means Martinez beat a bigger guy. Then defended that title along with the ones he won from Pavlik who is even a bigger guy against a champion who was undefeated. Now doesnt that fall into your "he must fight bigger guys to be the best" category? oh yeah i almost forgot Cintron. Yeah he beat him too

pay attention to yours...based on ur logic ur ****tin on pacs win against cotto because of the catchweight, while praising sergios win against pwil at 157..3 pounds below the middleweight limit??....cmon now son!
DUDE ITS BEYOND TIME THAT PAC GOT KNOCKED OFF HIS NUMBER 1 SPOT , YOU ARE A PACFAN NOT A BOXING FAN, BRO HOW DOES PAC FIGHTING 6 BUMS IN A ROW COMING OFF TERRIBLE LOSSES EVEN BEGIN TO COMPARE TO THE TYPES OF FIGHTERS MARTINEZ HAS JUST BEATEN???? , WITH STYLE AND DOMINANCE???? IT DOESNT BRO! AND LOOK PAC FIGHTING YET ANOTHER WASHED UP BUM IN MOSLEY,news flash mosley was great 10 years ago! WHILE MARTINEZ HAS FOUGHT A STEADY STREAM OF PURE KILLERS! UNLESS PAC KOS MAYWEATHER IN ONE ROUND THERE IS ABSOLUTLEY NO JUSTIFICATION TO HAVE HIM AS NUMBER 1 , GIVEN HIS WEAKazz COMP SINCE JMM. face it dude pac is a good fighter a solid fighter but hes more hype than substance more fiction than fact ,it it has very much to do with ppv sales and a scumbag promotor like arum.anybody with any humility can admit pac aint on sergios level rt now.pac needs to cherry pick to win sergio does not.

              • These Sergio fans are going OTT now for Sergio. There is not one human on the planet who genuinely thinks Sergio is no1 p4p. Many want him to be but no one thinks he is.

Hes had a good run of 3 wins in the last year. So what happened with all the other years he was average below the radar, nobody knows who he is? Because hes had more bad years than good years, my guess is next year or later this year his good run comes to an end.
You cant put him no1 because you cant trust that it will continue. Pac has shown year after year that he can be trusted. I dont trust sergio yet. He hasnt earned the luxury of being trusted yet.

So you can put Donaire easily as your number one P4P cause of two wins but the three wins and one disputed draw (Pavlik, Williams, DZ, and Cintron) and one closely contested fight (Williams 1) is not enough for Martinez. What is the logic there? Are you Phillipino? If you are then thatll explain it all. Nothing against just a similar pattern

                    • im not impress with Martinez's record.

Pound4Pound #1? you have got to be kidding me!!!!

Presente Brito (11 wins, 14 losses, 3 draws) 2006; Vasile Surcica (13 wins, 24 losses, 2 draws) 2006; Oliver Tchinda (1 win, 7 losses, 2 draws) 2006; Pavel Florin Madalin (3 wins, 34 losses, 2 draws) 2007; and other unknown fighters like Enrique Areco (40 wins, 13 losses, 7 draws); Elbio Gonzales (15 wins, 8 losses, 2 draws); Adrian Danef (25 wins, 15 losses, 2 draws); Silvio Rojas twice (26 wins, 23 losses, 3 draws) and again when Rojas record improved to 27 wins, 25 losses, 4 draws, and Jose Perez (17 wins, 13 losses).

Year 2008 Archak Termiliksetian (16 wins, 6 losses) and David Toribio (14 wins, 10 losses).

With a record like this, Floyd is assured of a 2nd place spot
