again im sot saying sergio is a bad fighter..he is verygood and he is one of my favorite fighters..he is 2nd in my p4p list...even higher than the guy in my avatar..my point is he needs to stay active and fight better guys..guys up north....then he will be p4p number 1 no doubt..

if manny doesnt fight JMM or mayweather or if he fights ricardo mayorga then manny is not my number on p4p anymore...if he fights another tomato can then im no longer a fan...sergio has to put on more work for him to pressure manny to beat quality opponents....bute, pirog, ward etc. is a good start..not some guy he took from 154 to fight at 160...

well he fought Williams twice when no one would fight him including Pac (he was a welter for awhile), Pavlik, Cintron, when a ref counts to ten fight over but in this fight that didint happen, you would know that if you watched boxing, and now DZ who was undefeated and a ranked fighter. Actually all the names i mentioned were ranked. But i see now we rank the P4P on PAST fights and old resumes.

Martinez must beat bigger opponents as like what Pacquiao is doing before he can claim that he's #1 P4P.

pavlik,wiliams and dzinzurik were all taller than sergio kelly is more of a super middle so he is clearly bigger and before sergio fought willilams he had only fought at 154 not at 160.you say sergio should fight bigger opponets like pacquiao so maybe sergio should fight hopkins at 160 that would kinda be the equivalent of manny fighting oscar than he can fight someone like mayorga who is big and has a name and that could be the same as manny fighting margarito than he can fight abraham that would cover the manny clottey fight than taylor can come back and win a fight or 2 than sergio could fight taylor and that would kinda be the equivalant of manny beating cotto

many of these guys on this forum are ***in CLUELESS, clearly they only been following the 147 division because that is were Pacquiao is fighting...but Sergio Martinez has literally been the smaller guy in his last 4 Fights and WTF are some of these people talking about as for as fighting some of those 168 fighters? that makes NO ***IN SENSE, Martinez just got to 160

it is absolutely nothing wrong with him fighting 154 fighters at all considering the fact that he was just a title holder at 154 just last year and he GAVE UP THAT TITLE...NOBODY BEAT HIM FOR IT!!!

not some guy he took from 154 to fight at 160. You do realize Martinez was at 154 less than a year ago right? and yeah Dz was from 154 and fought at 160 but isnt that better than a 154 guy being forced to fight at 150. and isnt it better than a 147 guy being forced to fight at 145.

For a while I thought the Pacquiao-Mosely match would be a 12 round excitement for boxing fans. Now, after what Martinez has said about Pacquiao, I think this fight is gonna take just two (Hatton style) rounds. For sure that would drop Martinez' jaw but certainly not scare him off (Mayweather style). If Martinez can go down to 150 we might see the fight of the century.
