These Sergio fans are going OTT now for Sergio. There is not one human on the planet who genuinely thinks Sergio is no1 p4p. Many want him to be but no one thinks he is.

Hes had a good run of 3 wins in the last year. So what happened with all the other years he was average below the radar, nobody knows who he is? Because hes had more bad years than good years, my guess is next year or later this year his good run comes to an end.
You cant put him no1 because you cant trust that it will continue. Pac has shown year after year that he can be trusted. I dont trust sergio yet. He hasnt earned the luxury of being trusted yet.

how has he had more bad years than good years when he only had 1 loss before he fought williams and now only has 2 if i'm not mistaken manny has more losses than sergio and as far as your logic than sergio shouldn't be #1 because manny has been in the spot light longer means that you must also believe that manny shouldn't be ranked higher than a fighter like floyd or hopkins because both those fighters have been a factor in the boxing game longer than pacquiao

Not a Sergio fan but a boxing fan (Marquez fan here). So if Pac is trusted i hope Sergio gets the opportunity to fight stiffs and has beens so we can trust him too. and actually if you go to other forums there are alot of fans that believe he has earned that number 1 ranking. Myself included. The competition has been elite for Martinez lately and for Pac it hasnt.

Pac is good but i think Martinez has earned it. at least until Pac fights the washed Mosley and then many will say hes the best again. If he wins

I don't think HBO wants to show Pirog anymore after spoiling their plans for Jacobs. Martinez just made a million dollars, he wants to keep making those kinds of paydays and he can't do that fighting some guy off TV.

For most of Sergios career he has been an unknown because he hasnt done anything people consider special, so he is run of the mill for most of his career. Pac has been doing wonderful things most of his career, and became known since beating barrera though. That is many years ago and hes still at the top. Basically Sergio might have been the best fighter for a year but that dont make you p4p the best. Considering Pac moved up so many weights and all things being equal Pac would beat Sergio if he was bigger. Thats why SRR is better than Ali isnt it, all things being equal.
