Wrong. It we go without media hype, then it should be: 1. Sergio, 2. Pacquiao, and someone else not named Floyd because of his inactivity.

      My P4P rating

      Pacquiao
      Martinez
      Mayweather
      Marquez
      Donaire

I have to agree with Top Rank. People are overracting about placing him immediately at #1 (as usual). He has 3 notable wins (Pavlik, Williams, Dzinzuruk) like Donaire (Darchinyan, Sidorenko, Montiel) and people are already going wild about it. This is what I hate about these big wins because people are so quick to compare them to Pacquiao even though they don't have a better resume.

Being honest im more impress with his fight with Pavlik over Paul Williams and Serhiy Dzinziruk.

Hes definitely in the top fighters today, kinda sucks he gained popularity just shortly when he reach the age of 34+.

            It should be:

            Pacquiao
            Donaire
            Martinez
            The rest

I like how you guys disregard events to fit an agenda.
failed negotiations and who they actually fight at the end of the day is what matters. and pacs fighting oldsly next, before it was cheato after a year odd layoff after a ko loss, and before that i choke in every title fight clottey who you *******s try to sell as some world beater cuz pac fought him. sergios fighting better opposition and winning better. deal with the facts and logic. and their gonna fight marquez next at welter weight. his p4p 1 dyas are numbered

People say the Hatton victory doesn't mean much due to Floyd KO'ing him, but let's look at this objectively.

Hatton was very competive for the first 5-6 rounds against Floyd. He got stopped but that was him stepping up in weight against the best WW at that time.

Pavlik stepped up against B-hop and got dominated from the opening bell to the end of the fight. Sadly people wanna bring up Hattons loss but totally disregard Pavliks loss. Not only that Hatton was a better champ in his class and Manny destroyed him.

Then take Cotto. Cotto clearly is a better champ than Williams, has a better resume so at best I think the Williams win is on par with Cotto.

And finally Martinez beat Dzin. Great win and all but again I'm just not seeing how that propells Martinez to #1.

How does 3 hot wins surpass a decade of dominance? I some of you guys don't like Pacquiao but the attempts to hype up Martinez as the top p4p guy is comical.
Cotto victor on par with Williams, oh man, how does 3 wins surpass a decade of dominance, really? Goddammit man...

Pac needs to beat the klitschkos or Haye to become number #1...

p4p is not based on resumes...its clearly based on skill and more so on what have u done for me lately. martinez is dominating fighters, fighters that havent been dominated in the past. and hes doing it with skill and power. pac is fighting mosely...i mean like wtf?? call a spade a spade.
