  • IMO the only fights I wanna see is Pacquiao vs Mayweather or Pacquiao vs Martinez.

I wouldn't mind Angulo but he has to beat a top fighter or atleast snatch a belt from someone like bunrange.

    • I don't think it's fair to drop a guy from the number 1 spot when he's fighting consistently, especially considering what he has done in the sport during these past few years. Plus he's still facing tough opposition, Mosley is still a dangerous guy.

        Why not?

Do you agree that Martinez has fought better fighters in their prime and has put on better performances than Pac?

No, Pacquiao fought and beat the reigning lightweight king, moved up to welterweight and beat DLH, who admittedly was weight drained and way over the hill, then he beat the guy who was the man at 140 at the time, then he beat Cotto, who was and probably still is among the 15 or 20 best fighters in the sport and was at the time at worst the number 3 welterweight in the world. Margarito is still a tough guy who was a full weight division bigger than Pacquiao when they fought and Mosley is still dangerous and again, will probably be a full weight division bigger than Pacquiao when they fight.

The thing with Pacquiao is that the guys he's fighting and beating are naturally much bigger than he is and he's doing it without losing more than a fee rounds along the way.

Excuses can be made for every fighter when they lose, like Pavlik was going through alcohol issues ever since the Hopkins fight and that Williams might have been better suited at 154 since he's moving back down in weight now and that Dzinziruk could also be better served at 154 since he can still make the weight effectively and has been there throughout his career. This is not trying to take anything away from Martinez but all I'm saying is that Pacquiao still deserves to be the number 1 guy in the sport until he loses or until he starts fighting bums, he hasn't lost and he isn't fighting bums.

Paul Williams is the only Better fighter right?

I see it playing out like this:
Khan bests Bradley decisively and Manny faces Berto. Then hopefully it Floyd or Martinez because logically there aren't any other fights that would make sense, legacy and money wise.
Khan won't beat Bradley,so you can add Bradley's name to the list of opponents that Pac could fight..
