Martinez started at welterweight and fought the following fighters.
Welterweight - nothing much to say at this weight
Light Middleweight - Cintron? lose to Williams
Middleweight - Pavlik, Willliams and Dzinziruk = P4P#1?

Pacquiao started at 106/flyweight and fought the following fighters.
Flyweight - beat the lineal WBC champ Sasakul
Super Bantamweight - beat the no. 1 super bantamweight IBF champ Ledwaba
Featherweight - Lineal champ and Ring Champ HOF Barrera

Take note Pac did good while moving up but Martinez nothing much to say at welterweight and Light Middleweight.
Sasakul, Ledwaba and Barrera >>>>>> Pavlik, Williams and Dzinziruk.
Pac beat the above fighters in their prime and a much better fighters than the 3 fighters Martinez fought p4p and accomplishment wise but did Pac suddenly became no. P4P#1? LOL!
    not arguing atg status dumba$$

u guys come with tardism and talking about how well know a fighter is and u ignore the important details. so no, i wont stoop to ur level. but if u wanna nuthug, have at it.
Red- You don't even know the guy's name and you still have yet to tell me who the biggest win is on his record or when the last time he fought at MW was. Like I said before, I can wait

Bold- Then you would lose your money. Margarito (opposition, accomplishments, in the ring)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 'dinzurik'

**** outta here with that bull****.

        Answer my damn questions.

          • once Berto beat Ortiz i want to see you guys putting Berto inside the P4P top 10. because like Sergei, Ortiz is not rank in Berto's division and not one of the best in his own weight division.

Thats a great point. I think pac stays #1

Donaire, Bradley, and Martinez are even at #2. Any way you put it, you can make a solid argument defending any of them in that spot.

I think the thread is about "current" P4P. Not career wise.

yeah the leftover Margarito will always be regarded as the better boxer than Sergei in his lifetime.

If you wanna big-note what Pac has done, you may want to mention how he has lost in the lighter weights, and to whom!

Currently,Martinez is facing higher quality(primed) and stopping them, while some idiots give Manny a pass at fighting proven-spent opponents,or suggesting that if he doesn't struggle against shot-to **** Mosely (who the **** actually thinks Mosely will make Manny struggle anyways??????!!!!),that he deserves to stay at the top.Current p4p rankings are what you continue to do,not exclusive on past glories.

maybe, but not the marg that pac and garcia fought but the marg that cotto, mosley, and santos fought. when you fight a great fighter is what gives a victory merit not if you fought them you dumb f@ck.
