I think the americans in this thread need to abort because you are starting to embarrass yourselves.
I am ashamed of my countrymen in this thread and their unwillingness to admit we are just not as good as we used to be at something and other countries are now better because they put in more effort.

I am going to become a Russian poster from now on.

This excuse is total rubbish, boxing needs to be in your heart and you need to take it seriously and have the desire to become the best. NFL/NBA Giants can't just be put into the ring and become champions.

The Klitschko's have lived and breathed boxing for 20 odd years and just because Wlad's chin isn't the best and has failed him on a couple of occasions means that they don't get the respect they deserve. If American HW's are in the NFL/NBA then that's because that sport was their passion, the same way the Klitschko's are HW Champions because Boxing is their passion. You can't just give Boxing a go because you're a 7ft freak of nature, eg Tye Fields.

This 'Soccer is taking the best atheletes' doesnt reaaly hold up as most countries in Europe that plays football as their first sport, never really took boxing seriously......Brazil, Spain, France, Italy....etc. never had a history of producing good boxers

USA DID have a history of producing great boxers and when you consider the size of America...it is simply ****** just to put it down to 'well the suck now'....there is obviosly reasons as to why that has happened.........

So you honestly believe there is no reason as to why there has been a lack in talent in American boxing when you consider the size of America and the resources........

There is a logical reason for everything, could be are sedentary life style and eating habits I don't claim to know everything but its a huge conclusion to jump to claiming that if this athlete from a whole different sport never did that but boxed he would be the best at it.

Other countries are now better, in the HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION... But America is still the top money making country when it comes to boxing period by a long shot, just because the Klits are on top of the HW div right now doesnt take away from the 60-70 yrs American champs ran wild ...

After the Klits im almost sure an American will be on top again.... Look at the other divisions, HW too, there's always been foreigners via Mex,Asia,Europe who have been good but an American has always been better.................... at some point..... Vitali isnt the GOAT, Ali is, Vitali is just good right now and there isnt an Ali, does that mean Americans arent working as hard or Vitali could beat anyone ever...

Who are usually regarded as the ATG's Americans...Name your top 5 ATG??? and the shut your ****ing mouth!!!
