All of the best American heavyweights have been exposed and destroyed by Eastern Europeans. The same thing is happening in many other weight classes too.

Soviets/Eastern Europeans weren't allowed to turn pro until the 1990s because of the cold war/iron curtain.

Now Soviets/Eastern Europeans are allowed to turn pro and we're already taking over boxing.

This is just the beginning of the Eastern European domination.

There are tons of potential Eastern European Heavyweight Boxers who are doing Combat Sambo, MMA, Kickboxing, Hockey, Olympic Wrestling, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Worlds Strongest Man Competitions, etc.

America isn't the only country on the planet that has other sports.

Eastern European fighters are superior.

Why is Froch the best fighter at 168? He lost to Dirrel. I would say Ward right now is the best. Bute isn't even the conversation get off his nuts for kayoing less than great talent. Pac being the best at 154? The guy hasn't even fought at 154 in his life, got a made up weight class and beat a slow ass Mexican. Pac has yet to fight Berto at 147(a fight I want to see). Honestly, I dont rank Pac the best at any of those 3 weights because it has been a long time since he fought a really good talent at that weight. He just fights big names now. Lets see Pac get in there with Kirkland at 154 please.

Dirrell did run but he boxed better than Froch, actually did more damage and landed at a much higher clip. To me that is victory in boxing. You may not of liked the style(who could) but you gotta give the right man the victory. Even if Froch had clearly won that fight I still give Ward the edge. Froch may have a bit better resume but right now by the eye test Ward looks like a better and more complete fighter.

Pac could very well demolish both guys but I still want to see it. Pac fighting Mosley, Clottey, and Margarito does nothing in my eyes to prove that he is the best fighter in these divisions. He needs to fight some new blood.

It's not an excuse it's the truth. Great athletes can certainly mean great fighters. Sure, if a NFL player stepped in the ring right now he would get blistered but if he had focused his whole childhood on boxing his chances of success would be great. You bring up Mike Tyson and the NFL. Had Tyson decided to play football instead he probably would of done well at that as well. Thing is NFL was not as large as it is now and Boxing was still pretty big here, so he chose boxing. IMO the best athletes in American, boxing related, are playing in the NBA though. The rise of the NBA has really hurt American Boxing.

I just can't see the sense in this argument at all.
