Why won't Pac fight Marquez @ 140? Because the weight has to be perfect for Pac but no one else? Cotto should be pissed off for getting played by Team Pac. Do you think that was right? I didn't think so. Then again maybe you do.
I'm going to end this by saying that we should agree to disagree on this one. I've made my points as to why Manny has no obligation to fight Sergio at 154, and you haven't presented any argument against it. Now you are bringing up other fights and also putting words into my mouth.

    Agree to disagree.

      Do you see my point?
Actually I believe he trained at about 152 for the Clottey fight.

I don't know what you mean by "trained at 152". Was he that weight on fight night?

People act as if Pacquiao has some magical barrier at 150 and can't get past it. He doesn't come in light because his body didn't allow him to put on more pounds. He comes in light because he's lazy and doesn't want to work on it. As a welterweight, there's no reason why he shouldn't be able to come in at 155lb at fight night just every like every other welterweight. Pac isn't THAT small. Robert Duran was only a half inch taller and fought at super middleweight. When someone fights at a new weigh class, you typically expect them to put on some pounds. I don't get why Pacquiao is exempted from this and people just assume he shouldn't have to gain weight as if it's a given.

It's simple: Martinez was stripped of the very same WBC jr-middle-wt title Manny and Margarito undeservedly fought for. Immediately after the fight don't you think it's fair for the man that was unjustly stripped of the same title to challenge the man who won it? You dont have any understanding if you dont understand that. You have stated opinions but I just gave you the facts.

You haven't addressed the weight difference. By your numbers, it would be a 21 pound disadvantage on fight night. Is that fair?

There's nothing to address. When Ray Robinson went up to 175 he fought the champion at his best, so did Hearns when he fought Virgil Hill and Roy Jones when he went up to heavy-wt. That won't change because of Pac. You can jock him all you like but in boxing you fight the champion at his best and if you can't fight at a certain weight dont go up there. This aint b*tching my dude it's boxing. WRONG SPORT!!!!!!

It is true though. Pac fans are saying that Floyd should fight guys like Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez but say Pacquiao is too small to fight them? then have the nerve to say that Floyd is scared of Pac, when Manny can't even fight the same guys Pac fans are saying Floyd should fight? What kind of bologne is that? Myweather weighed 148 on fight night against De La Hoya who weighed 160 and was/is like 3 inches taller than Mayweather BUT Floyd fought at the official weight of 154 and won the title from Oscar. Pac weighed 148 against Margarito but the fight was at a 150 catchweight for a vacant title. Why does Manny get exempt from fighting guys at their natural and official weight for championship titles but get all the credit in the world for doing it? I'm sure that Manny wouldn't fight Martinez because in my opinion. Sergio would knock Manny's head off of his shoulders.

So you are saying it's okay to fight at a 21 pound weight advantage. Unbelievable. There's no jocking anything. Do you see that my favorite fighter is Sugar Shane Mosley? Why would I "jock" Pac. Very childish. Don't resort to name-calling because you have nothing intelligent to argue. I'm done with you now.

We know this Grus and so does Team Pac. People hate to say whats at the core but it is racism because your right, cats have no problem saying Floyd should fight these guys but Manny gets special treatment. Its really sickening but it is what it is. People will say it's because of the dislike for Floyd but that's BS. If Floyd refused to submit to drug testing he would be crucified.
