lols... you act like khan, haye, and hatton were manufactured by sky sports... they weren't.
of the 3, khan perhaps is the most manufactured, but haye and hatton have mad charisma.
you can't just force froch down people's throat and hope they'll take to him... it's the same thing berto is going through now in the USA... HBO put a lot of money to push berto, but berto can't sell 500 tickets to any of his fights.
you can't manufacture a boxing superstar like america idol or whatever the equivalent is in the UK. that's not how boxing works.Comment

The point is about overlooked domestic star potential (Froch), not taking some random bummy guy (you) off the street and putting him in a reality TV show. Goodness.
The British citizens here all seem to think Froch would have crossed over by now if a force like Sky had their finger on the pulse and picked him up at the start of his reign.
The 2 dissenting Americans, who 1. don't live here and 2. seem unlearned about what makes UK sports culture tick, think Froch would've been a flop.Comment

but froch ain't gonna get as big as haye, hatton or khan no matter how much backing from sky he gets.
you think sky manufactured the careers of hatton, haye and khan? c'mon man.Comment
