Yep, but Martinez didn't need to use steroids or catch-weights

      No!!!

Did floyd win that fight?? Yes!!

So he deserved the win son...

You gotta give him credit for it as he fought a legitimate champion and the champion was a champion in teh division in which floyd beat him in.

Thats called legit. Please dont try and argue otherwise, its gonna end violently.

Now if floyd fights martinez at a catchweight for a title, that **** doesnt count!! It would be the same thing pac did. I would give him credit for the win of course, but not for a division titlists claim in which he never fought in.

      Pac whooped margaritos a$$ lol

cant take that away from him... But just as they are taking that belt, they should take teh fake i am mr 8th division champion as well

      understand now..
if Floyd beat Martinez at a catchweight they would count it as another division title..your point on Floyd vs De la Hoya is bad. If I remember right Floyd came in a few pounds under the limit.

Which is better, Manny fighting and beating Cotto a full time fighter at a catchweight of 145 then defending that title at 147 vs Clottey and Mosley both former champs or Floyd moving up and not weighing the full 154 (as you seem to as an obssession of weighing the maximum) and vacating immediately after winning the title so he doesn't have to face a full time 154 pound fighter and instead moves back to 147 and fights a fighter (Hatton) was was proven to suck at 147 (see his Collazo fight for an example) in nothing more than a cash grab. Then he retires and makes a guy move up two weight classes and doesn't even follow the catchweight he set up and gets another 2 lbs on Marquez

lol what you stated was true, and this is the sad state of boxing.....

        Mayorga vs cotto????

        Pac vs shane??????

        Mayweather taking a break?????

        Devon and tim?????

This **** is sad, and ufc is ****ting on everyone in boxing except pac and floyds paperviews....

The p4p rankings at the time that Manny fought:

Mosley - unranked (current p4p ranking)
            Clottey - unranked
            Margarito - unranked
            Cotto - unranked???
            Delahoya - unranked
The P4P rankings at the time Floyd Mayweather fought:

            Oscar de la Hoya (unranked)
            Ricky Hatton (unranked)
            Carlos Baldomir (unranked)
Zab Judah (unranked and was coming off a loss)
            Sharmba Mitchell (unranked)
            Arturo Gatti (unranked)

So, what's your point? Mosley got ranked by beating Margarito in the P4P rankings, a guy everyone ****s on now. And, he beat a very small JMM and didn't even fight at the contracted weight. Plus, Pacquiao fought the guy who beat Mosley, Miguel Cotto...

            This is no valid argument...

THEY SIMPLY DONT UNDERSTAND THAT FOR UP, YOU HAVE DOWN, FOR HOT YOU HAVE COLD, FOR MANNY (YOU) THERES FLOYD (ME)

So theres no reason for people to argue about their opinions....

So I agree, with you in that aspect.....BUT YOU STATED THIS AND I QUOTE....

BUT IT DOES...... BECAUSE HE IS A PROVERBIAL " 8TH DIVISIONAL CHAMPION", SO IT MUST MEAN SOMETHING, AND THE CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCES KEEP SPREADING THAT PROPAGANDA...

I AGREE THE BELTS ARE TRASH, AND WHILE I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU, NOW I SEE MANY PAC FANS COMING OUTTA THE CLOSET NOW SAYING BELTS DONT MEAN ANYTHING, JACK NAPIER IS ONE OF THEM... BUT HE WAS *****ING WHEN FLOYD WAS TALKING ABOUT IT... I WAS WATCHING FROM BEHIND THE SCENES....

SO WITH THAT BEING THE CASE, THEY TOOK THE PHYSICAL BELT, BUT DIDNT TAKE THE FAKE ACCOMPLISHMENT... BECAUSE IF THE YOU STATE THE BELT IS A PAPER BELT WON OFF A CATCH WEIGHT, THEN THE 8TH DIVISIONAL TITLIST CLAIM IS JUST AS FALSE AS HE RECIEVED IT ALONG WITH THE PAPER BELT GET IT???

LOOKING AT YOUR RESPONSES, I KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND AND GET IT..... EVEN IF YOU DONT SAY IT OR TYPE IT...
Sure the 8th division champion gimmick they brand him with is bs, but try and ignore all of the parlor tricks and confetti and look at the ability/skills of the fighter in question in addition to who he fought and those fighter's accomplishments.

Pac beating Marg for a made up belt that doesn't mean anything in terms of title legacy but is a pretty decent win considering that Marg is a fighter who has beaten and/or held his own against the best in the world.....not to mention this is a good fighter much bigger than Pac who Pac easily beat.

I am not concerned about what Martinez said minutes after that fight.

When he had given no thought what-so-ever to his next opponent, and had not had time to consult his team, or go over any available options.

His official offer to Top Rank and Team Mayweather hold much more validity.

i cannot believe you asked me that ****??

                    Which is better??

Fighting a real champion and getting a real ****!n belt without a catchweight!!!

                    Thats whats better!!

And you keep reading what you want to read because you cant handle the heat!!!

My point with manny is that he fights for belts at catchweights, fights people coming off of losses/bad performances... Cotto, shane, but hey they agree to it, so i dont knock him for that.

I knock him for pushing taht 8th division champ **** when hes not because he didnt even fight in the division..

You know what i see what this is.... You are a *******...

You gotta bring floyd up!!! If the article is about manny vacating a title he shouldnt have, why are people mentioning

                    hearn
                    leonard,delahoya,shane,marquez etc..???

Because while floyd is not mentioned here, you still wanna bring him up and look foolish doing it.
