TO MAKE THIS EQUAL, THE PROVERBIAL 8TH DIVISION TITLIST **** SHOULD BE REMOVED AS WELL. MANNY KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AS HE STATED PRIOR TO THE FIGHT HE HAD NO PLANS ON FIGHTING AT 154....

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT FIGHT !!! YOU HAVE TO VACATE THE TITLE!!! THIS IS WHAT WE WITNESSED WITH COUNTLESS OTHERS INCLUDING MARTINEZ....

BUT IN ALL HONESTY, I APPLUAD YOU FOR TELLING THE TRUTH, ITS RARE ON THIS SITE....

actually, the 8th division titly is just an icing on the hate cake. he already got you ****ting on you panties in anger and jealousy when he won the fighter of the decade.

besides, pacfans on this site are not making a big deal about that 154 title. you can browse the threads if you want. it's only you and the other *****s who are making a big deal out of it.

Dude, that fight was over 7 years ago! Guys move up in weight as they get older. So, he tried to move up and lost that fight in 2004 (although I think Margs won however both guys were far from impressive) so he went back down in weight until last year. Now he is campaigning at 154 lbs again. That's what fighters do and I don't think you need examples of fighters who move up in weight as they age...

I agree. I look at Pacquiao's fight at 150 lbs as testing the waters and not much else. If Team Pacquaio wanted to be real pricks they would have demanded Margarito to come in at 147 lbs and completely drain him. And Margarito would have accepted for the big payday. Then *****s would have complained they made him come down in weight, blah, blah, blah and should have fought him at a higher weight. Sometimes, you are damned if you do and damned if you don't...

so why are people complaining that Pac fought at 150? didn't Tito weight drain Roy Jones to 170 for their catchweight fight when Roy hadn't fought at that weight in many years and at 39 was an "older fighter" didn't B Hop go down for Oscar and Winky? This stuff happens all the time. Pac and Margarito just happened to be for a vacant belt.

You skipped my other statement....Wilfredo Vasquez Jr had fought nothing but bums but was sanctioned to fight a cat (Sonosa) was campaigning two weight classes lower than where the belt was at LOLOL? How could he be the highest rated in a division 1. he doesn't fight and 2. doesn't even fight a division lower. stuff gets manufactured to get a guy a belt all the time.

Remember Floyd vacating his belt to go up and fight Oscar so Berto could get an easy touch to fight for the vacant belt?

I have no argument against you for what you believe, I honestly think thats why *******S AND *****S DO THIS..

THEY SIMPLY DONT UNDERSTAND THAT FOR UP, YOU HAVE DOWN, FOR HOT YOU HAVE COLD, FOR MANNY (YOU) THERES FLOYD (ME)

So theres no reason for people to argue about their opinions....

So I agree, with you in that aspect.....BUT YOU STATED THIS AND I QUOTE....

"No one with any credibility was trying to claim beating Marg for a made up belt meant anything"
BUT IT DOES...... BECAUSE HE IS A PROVERBIAL " 8TH DIVISIONAL CHAMPION", SO IT MUST MEAN SOMETHING, AND THE CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCES KEEP SPREADING THAT PROPAGANDA...

I AGREE THE BELTS ARE TRASH, AND WHILE I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU, NOW I SEE MANY PAC FANS COMING OUTTA THE CLOSET NOW SAYING BELTS DONT MEAN ANYTHING, JACK NAPIER IS ONE OF THEM... BUT HE WAS *****ING WHEN FLOYD WAS TALKING ABOUT IT... I WAS WATCHING FROM BEHIND THE SCENES....

SO WITH THAT BEING THE CASE, THEY TOOK THE PHYSICAL BELT, BUT DIDNT TAKE THE FAKE ACCOMPLISHMENT... BECAUSE IF THE YOU STATE THE BELT IS A PAPER BELT WON OFF A CATCH WEIGHT, THEN THE 8TH DIVISIONAL TITLIST CLAIM IS JUST AS FALSE AS HE RECIEVED IT ALONG WITH THE PAPER BELT GET IT???

LOOKING AT YOUR RESPONSES, I KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND AND GET IT..... EVEN IF YOU DONT SAY IT OR TYPE IT...

Wtf do you care so much about paper belts?

You think 20 years from now people will care about the wbc 154 title when they talk about pacquiao?

These paper belts are nothing more than promotion for a fight. So the tv networks can advertise it as a championship fight to casual fans.

              It's 2 former/current 147 champs fighting for a 154 belt. Nothing new.

Just look at the recent history of 147 champs getting title shots at 154 vacant or otherwise.

I gave you an example of baldomir-forrest.

              Here's another recent one: Mayorga.

Mayorga was a former 147 champ. He goes up to 160 to fight tito , gets beat down and his next fight he's fighting for a 154 vacant belt.
but wasnt he fighting at jr middleweight and not a catchweight???

Please tell me you are just joking your comprehension cant be that bad.......

Look if the paper belt is bull****, then hes not, i repeat not an 8th divisional titlist either...

He got that 8th divisional titlist reward for winning the bogus 154 belt which you just admitted....

So if the belt is bogus, then the 8th division titlist claim is bogus, and i can assure you that 20 years from now, he will be known for being the 8th division titlists.. Which you already hear anyway.

154 lb belt he has is bull****
154 8th division champ is bull**** as well...

You cant sepearte the two brother...

so all this is because you're whining that they call him an 8-weight champ?

call him 7 then and just stfu.

hell call him 6-time only because 126 wasn't an ABC belt it was only ring/lineal title.

i got news for you though if you're whining about the 8-weight champ thing.

the other 5- and 6-weight champs are bogus too. if not more.

delahoya. 6-weight champ? really? did he really beat sturm?

hearns. 5-weight champ? ibo 190 belt counts? IBO? or how about the wbo 168 belt hearns won. wbo had just started out. wbo might be considered a major org now but it wasn't back then.

ray leonard? he won both of the 168 and 175 belt in the same damn fight against the same fighter in a 168 fight.

lmao people who ***** at the 8-weight thing just don't know about the bs for some of the other 5 and 6-weight "champions" either.

okay for all that are slow...

Now one is complaining simply about the weight its all wrong on so many levels....

All your examples of people moving up is true, but they were not fighting for belts at catchweights!!! They were not making false claims that they have won 8 division championships, when they are not even fighting in the damn division...

If you dont understand then all hope is lost...

so you mean when floyd went up to 154 for an old part time fighter in de la hoya and then didn't defend it and went back to 147 that we shouldn't count that belt for floyd? i am trying to understand your logic. Also if Floyd fights Martinez at 156 and wins and moves back down and doesn't defend it we don't count that one either right?
