Well I've always said that 154 is a division loaded with gift-wrapped champions etc. It seems every fights for a vacate title or fights a guy who just won a vacate strap.

Off topic....I really hope Ryan Rhodes gets his shot at the WBC strap because dude has defiantly paid his dues.

But I simply have a problem with manny having that 8th division tagged to his name, in a division he never fought in with a guy that beat a bum in that division to get a title shot MARARITO.......

But martinez will not catch too much grief from me because he went up over 154 and won there as well!!!

And was willing to come back down to 154 and fight manny as well.

Manny never had any plans whatsoever to fight at 154... As he has never fought at 154, and he has a title at 154...

Because Foreman beat Santos (A guy who was a belt holder for a long time).

Cotto is the only real champ at 154 in my book. Others may feel different but if we are being technical about things....then yeah Cotto's the only legit champ.

I agree with this. I imagine though if he has a rematch with Margarito after he beats Mayorga that will be for the vacant WBC belt as well (if Arum has his way)...
