I agree with this. I imagine though if he has a rematch with Margarito after he beats Mayorga that will be for the vacant WBC belt as well (if Arum has his way)...

I just can't see how they leapfrog Ryan Rhodes for the vacant strap. It's to the point that they have no choice but to set up Rhodes vs ______ for the vacate title as Rhodes has been the top contender in the WBC rankings for a while.

Well because he's fighting Zbik next for the vacant WBC title. And, if he wins that which is Top rank plan and then goes with this plan, that you think TR is coming up, will mean he will win the WBC 154 title also.

Now I'm not no math wiz but winning a WBC reg title at 160 and 154(your assumption) will mean he's a 2 division title holder no?

And, my thinking is that Pac was going to get strip anyways. And, decided to just give it up before he was strip due to the "beef" that seems to be brewing between Pac camp and Jose(the head of the WBC).

who did the rabbi beat, this will answer your question. Cotto is the legit champ son, now that doesnt mean it was spectacular, but at least the proper avenues were went through.

So again i will ask you this time, do you think its fair for manny to be known as the 154 pound champ when he has never fought in that division??

How does a man not in a division even get a title fight in a division, hes never fought in?
