plus mosley was rusty as hell when he fought floyd

cotto also has shorter arms and will get pull countered until his jab disappears

and if mosley was rusty then so was floyd

Mosley punch wasnt lucky. that was his game plan. throw to the mid section with the left follow by a haymaker with the right.

exactly id say cotto would have more effect landing on floyd than shane who relies on his speed while cotto had good timing punches

well see. everybody has shorter arms than may hes got freakishly long arms, but cotto is quck enough with his jab to land it and set up his improving right hand of course floyd will land but i dont get where people think floyd will win easy. cotto will put up a much better fight than ortiz did, cotto can also cut off the ring better than ortiz too

Though Cotto's left hand is his strong hand, he hasn't won all his fights based on his left alone. I think people are putting too much emphasis on that. More than Cotto's left hook, I think the two important factors with Cotto is he doesn't waste punches and he's pretty damn accurate himself. I don't think Cotto will land clean leading with a left hook, but won't be shocked if Floyd gets hit with it during exchanges. It's not impossible.

yes and thats the thing.all the times floyds been buzzed have been with wide looping punches.he doesnt get caught with those short punches.but its boxing anything is possible

I dont know why people are making a big deal with floyd having longer arms than cotto, when shane has inches on floyd and cotto handled it just fine. Its nothing he hasnt seen or dealt with before.
