i remember the "Im just as fast" quote
He had good timing on Mosley... then again Mosleys head is stuck in cement.

I went to that fight, was a good time.

It's an uphill battle for Cotto... like I said, Floyd will have to be slower, and his reflexes are gonna have to show slippage for it to be competitive imo.

Well according to NSB, Mayweather has no legs so I guess in theory Cotto should have a shot.

I see your point, he may not do a day. But if he does the full 90 i'm picking pac if they fight in Nov.
I don't see him gaining that much weight because for 1 he doesn't have to eat the trays they serve. He can order commisary and only eat what he orders off the commisary list. I know many that have done that. Which means they can eat whatever they want just about whenever they want. I say whenever they want because they have plenty of stuff that they can get that don't need a microwave. He may not be able to workout like he is used to but there is plenty he can do to keep the weight down.

Gaining weight or losing weight is all about how said person wants to do their time. We shall see if he even has to do any time.

        • Cotto's jab is off beat and hard to predict.

How about posting videos on the jabs that do land cause I seen them land on Floyd and Pac

He is a bit more stationary... half out of choice, half out of age, imo.

You're not exactly as fleet footed at 35 as you are at 23.

The good thing is he is aware of it, and embraces it... where people like Roy don't think it's happening.

Some guys just don't gain weight... I have a friend that eats whatever he wants, doesn't work out and his weight never changes... Pac and May seem to be those types of fighters... Just their natural genes, they just don't gain weight like that.

Although I give you this, in the JMM fight, Floyd did look bigger coming off that hiatus.

              So time will tell
TRue. At least outside he could control his diet. Inside dude you gotta eat the high salt high starch **** they give you, not that I've been locked up. I eagerly await what happens.

cotto has good timing and a good jab if mayweather lays back and only throws 30 punches a round and lets cotto outwork him i dont see how floyd is gonna win he aint gonna hurt cotto either. this aint ricky hatton or victor ortiz buddy

                • Yes, he has a shot. Is it likely, nope.

his best style is to try to break down Floyd and that means getting inside...he doesn't have the speed or skill to do that IMO
but castillo did? id say cotto is better than castillo and has a better jab
