My prediction: Berto fights Breidis Prescott at a 146.5lb catchweight.

Nice to see Berta getting the venom he deserves. This is an easy paycheck for Andrea, not because of weight or size , but because Ortiz isn't good enough to compete at the top at 140, so bring em up and beat em down. They should strip Berta and make him fight for a silver championship because that's his level. Mark it, if this fight happens, Vic eats about a dozen overhand rights and fights over,2,3 rounds tops.

This has to be some kind of joke or a bad dream. I can't believe this is what boxing has turned into now.

Ortiz's handlers have requested a catch-weight of 143-pounds. Berto wants the full welterweight limit of 147-pounds.

Ortiz, 140 or 147, those are the options.
If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.
This catch-weight bull**** has got to stop, it's a fkn joke.

Berto needs to man up, and Ortiz needs to handle 147 or stay where he is.
When one fighter insists upon a catch-weight, he is admitting that he could not compete against the other fighter at his natural weight. A title fight should NEVER he held at catch-weight.
