I agree. Cotto was diminished ever since the Margarito fight.

Hes still a better win than present day Berto, who has done nothing but get a controversial nod over someone barely top ten.

You were comparing a Todays Taylor, who has lost 4 of his last 5 and 3 of those have been BRUTAL KO's to Berto as who is a better win. So why are you now talking about a Taylor after the Pavlik beatings?

How about comparing Taylor after the 1st Pavlik loss to Cotto after the Marg loss? They were both the sam situation

But yes a Taylor win after Pavlik is WAY better then a Berto win right now

Pac could stay at 140 after he beat Hatton and beat anybody there like B-hop staying at his best weight but it won't mean anything. Pac beating anybody at 140 <<<<<<<<< beating Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. Why not beat anybody at cruiserweight and heavyweight to see how good really he is.

I dont think pascal expects to beat BH in the rematch and dont think BH was anything special, other than he underestimated what the old dog could do, like a lot of people did.

I doubt margarito or cotto or clottey thinks they could have done much better against Pac.
I guess Trinidad, Glenn, Taylor, Pavlik took him lightly also. 4 guys at the very top of their game. He just went to Pascal's hometown and worked him in front of his fans, I'm still waiting for PAC to come to the east coast.

Even in his old age B-Hop is still trying to fight the best and only the best in each division.

Pac has been bullying out of prime fighters for a while since the second Morales fight.

Berto simply being young and hungry does not make him better, otherwise Jan Zaveck and Vyacheslav Senchenko would be better wins then Cotto

No i always said Mosley is a better fight but i would have prefered to see him face berto
See this is exactly what I meant before. Fighting a name based on previous accomplishments. That's the reason why you think Cotto is a better win. Can I ask you something. Who did Clottey beat? Zab Judah, on a downside. Corrales, on a down side. Margarito holds the record of throwing the most punches against him. Is Clottey somehow a bigger win than Quintana?

Also, you say Mosley is a better fight, but why would you want him to fight Berto? According to your logic you think Mosley is a bigger win. Even though he's on a downside. A loss and a controversial draw. But hey, Mosley is a name. So he's obviously a bigger win. Right?

Were they ever the same? After the 2nd Pavlik win, Taylor won against Jeff Lacy! Jermain Taylor is back! Boom, he gets KTFO. Just like Cotto won against Foreman. Boom, he might get KTFO against a shot Mayorga or a shot Margarito. Like I said only time will tell.

I just don't see your logic honestly.

Taylor only got KTFO in a fight he was arguably winning, over someone who controversially lost to Kessler and totally dominated Abraham recently.

He was still a decent fighter.

also Lacy had been shot to **** for forever, it wasnt a big deal at all when Taylor beat him. All three of his wins prior were controversial, most notably against Mendoza who battered him arond the ring, causing Lacy to retire after the bout.
Foreman aint the best fighter, but at least he had beaten an undertrained Dan Santos prior to fighting Cotto.

                      Pac has done the unthinkable.

Hopkins is great, but his best wins havent been close to what Pac has accomplished.
