How much do you know about Mayweather....How about fighting with broken hands throughout the first part of your career, how about fighting toe to toe with Corley after he got really hurt in a fight, how about going back at Mosely after getting really hurt and shutting him out the rest of the fight, how about going toe to toe with Jesus Chavez, Augustus.....

People here question May's heart due to the perception that he ducks fighters in can't be from what happens in the ring.....

So now if the perception that he ducks fighters is the reason why he "lacks heart" then Ray Leonard ducked two top fighters in his era who both called him out....What makes Leonard different from Floyd?
But he fought both of them,so wuts up? When you say whose Floyds fought and by those names none of them are A grade fighters? When Floyd fights the likes of Berto,Paul Williams, and Manny Pacquiao then people won't question his heart and than maybe he can be compared to an ATG like Sugar Ray! Instead floyd is fighting smaller guys like JMM and over the hill fighters like Mosley, there on 2 different levels when it comes to heart and opposition fought between Floyd and Ray!

Why should I lower myself and debate with a ****** like yourself? I already know that I know far more than yourself.I already know how ignorant and ****** you actually are.I know for a fact that you brought up Aaron Pryor based on what the Arguello-Pryor episode of the Legendary Night series.Your kind are not new around these parts - I've come across many of you.

lol at comparing the corley fight etc with the heart that sugar ray has shown in the ring. that's why you can''t be debated

you are aware that duran is an atg correct? hearns too.

and you compare that to going toe to toe with corley?????????????? tell me who corley knocked out before floyd that made him dangetrous to go toe to toe with?

idiot. srl did have a few guys he played games with out of the ring, but he ended up fighting hagler and he cherry picked a title or two, but that was AFTER his murderous career where he faced more real tests than floyd could possibly face even if he actually fought the best fighters he could find around his weight classes for the next 5 years.

there will never be a comparison.

may I ask how old you are?

You obviously didn't read my opening post saying Leonard and Mayweather were at different points of their careers at Welterweight.

Funny that you ask because I been watching boxing since the early 80's...I actually covered fights....interviewed all of your favorite fighters....so as far as my credibility goes mine is intact....

Now as far as speaking on Corley....that is a fight where Floyd was really hurt and he showed heart and fought toe to toe even though he knew the guy can hurt him....

Am I aware that Duran is an atg, I have had lunch with Duran okay so to answer your question yes I am aware....

Fighting Duran doesn't excuse the fact that Sugar avoided Aaron Pryor and stayed away from Haglar for 5 years

Every test that Mayweather has had in his career has been excused away....There is no one that Mayweather could have fought in his career that would have been good enough for most on this board...

If he he beat Tsyzu...it would have been that he was aging and Vince Phillips has expose him, Freitas and Casamayor would have been dismissed as Hernadez and Chavez were..., Margarito would have gotten Baldomir treatment,

Floyd only has a shot of gaining some props for beating Sergio....cause if he beats Pacman it will because he waited for Pacman to be weaken or he was naturally bigger etc....

                  Give the man his props...

all that is total bullshi t.

i give floyd his props for shane and his career at 130-5. THAT'S IT (and barely at 135). He gets absolutely no heart comparison for going toe to toe with a journeyman beltholder like corley compared to the wars and heart SRL showed in the ring and in choosing his opponents.

look, if you want to count SRL as having ducked 2 fighters (one of which he eventually fought) who are hof'ers and atg's, then how the *** can you defend floyd's career? You're talking about leonard then you mention margs, casa, frietas, tszyu, and you forgot steve johnson, spaddy, cotto, etc etc etc that floyd could have fought. LOL!!!! Then you point out prior and hagler LOL!

it's not even worth mentioning or debating you because your whole slant on the issue is ridiculous. floyd got wobbled by shane and fought back in that round and the next and shane gave up (after a 16 month layoff and being what? 39?

how does that compare to the heart srl showed vs his murderous competition?

floyd's career is a laughingstock compared to srl,s and ever sweet pea's. they should never ever be mentioned in the same sentence as far as competition goes. floyd's best win by far is corrales no? and his best win since going up to 140 is Judah and Shane at 147 no? Judah beat who at 147? remind me?

Shane was a good win to me, i didn't think he would give up and floyd could have knocked him out.
