i hate these bull**** attempts by the robots fans to try and associate their man as on the same page or better than lewis.

lewis was getting fat and had lost the love for boxing pretty much. he was agening and time was catching up with him.

vitali didnt expose lewis. lewis battered klitscko like he has never been hit since. lewis won by, vitali didnt.

it hurts. it could have been the other way. it wasn't. deal with it. vitali may be in a similar situation soon as time catches up.
if it does, it doesnt discredit how good he has been for the sport. new faces always arrive, but they dont automatically become better for fighting an old man and losing.!

      THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.

      punches landed

      Vitali 156

      Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

      Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

Fact is the boxing world wanted a rematch and instead he retired. I think people forget that Lewis and Vitali were SCHEDULED to fight December that year but Lewis decided to take the match early because Vitali's match went south.

Lewis took the fight on short notice.

Lewis TOOK VITALI LIGHTLY (when a fighter is not in condition to fight what does that tell you)

Lewis WAS LOSING all on cards when it was stopped. The cut SAVED the fight for him.

Only problem I have with the whole fiasco is Lennox should have NEVER opened his mouth about a rematch because it put the CAL on him.

Weather or not Lewis retired to duck Vitali or what ever, we will never know. Fact is Lennox should have known better then to open his mouth, when he didn't come thru it put a damper on his legacy...

Ive watched the fight many times and the thing I notice is how good Vitali is at using posture. He erects his posture immediately after he gets hit to make it seem like he's not hurt but really he is in dreadful agony. When he thinks no one is watching he is seen sucking wind and has a look of despair on his face. All the press photos show this and its really hilarious....Lennox doesnt give a s#t how sloppy he looks in the ring, he just fights.

If Vitali would protect his face, like he protects his posture he mightve had a chance.

If Vitali concentrated on throwing QUALITY punches instead of mindless quantity he couldve had an even better chance.

          OLD Lennox > Prime Vitali
Lol..son.... so now we're saying that Vitali pretends to hide his pain while the cameras are taking snapshots but secretly when they're not looking he crys out in shame. Maybe he's pretended not to taste canvas as well & when no ones looking he falls on his ass twice like the great Lennox Lewis before him..yeah that's the ticket!

When both robots are done..they are going to be right there.. esp Vlad who's taking on an eerily similar path to Lennox...you know..suspect chin..concussive power & timid against foes who he thinks can hurt him... HOLYFIELD,,, Tua...ring a bell. Wlad WILL definitely be side by side with Lennox WHILE Vitali will be several notches below or several notches above depending on how his dominance is viewed.

Lewis won by TKO, no justification needed.

If anything Klitschko fans try and justify the loss.......

I actually think in the end Vitali will always be considered the "tougher" brother while the Wlad will be considering the more "technical" brother.

Their legacies in the end will be equal considering Vitali was a champ as both a kickboxer and boxer (who did did this despite his history or injuries) while Wlad was just a champion boxer.

                  May i ask the TS..

How does one dominate the fight by only winning 4 rounds out of 6..

That's how the judges had it 4 (Klit) - 2 (Lewis) and i think the rounds scored for Lewis were the later ones aswell. He started slow and was getting beat but turned it round later on and would have stopped Klit.. no matter how tough he was, that cut was deadly.

Zab Judah and would have beat Mayweather i guess if he had been stopped on a horrible cut by this logic, klit fans use.

The myth here is that Vitali dominated the fight

Boxing fans amaze me, if a fighter throws a punch that knocks someone out clean people will be wowed and praise the victory regardless of the beating said fighter took before he managed to land the killing punch.

Yet when it comes to cuts people throw a fit. I can understand if the cut is caused by a headbutt and it goes to the score cards early but if someone is cerebal with their punches it is a legitimate win.
