    This is ridiculous.

I guess Trevor Berbick was the baddest man too because Ali didnt want to fight him again! Ridiculous.

If Vitali couldnt get it done against a sluggish 37 year old Lewis, he doesnt deserve the luxury of fighting an even older, slower version of that guy. Im sure if Lennox slowed down enough Vitali would eventually beat him. I weigh 160 lbs and Id beat Lennox eventually... What the hell does that prove?

The only boxers who continue to fight past their best are

    1. Broke Boxers( Holyfield)
    2. Boxers who failed in their prime (Vitali, Foreman)

Lennox did not fit in either of these categories. He defeated everyone he ever faced, and had nothing to gain beating a guy he already beat. Vitali has to live with it.

LOL.... at the comparisons between Berbick retiring ALI & vITALI doing likewise to Lewis.. ONLY 2 things wrong with your convenient analogy & that is that he should've asked Holmes for the rematch...not Berbick as Holmes layed the foundation for the BERbick beatdown & the other thing is thaT in b oth fights ALI got the L he justifiably earned WHILE Lennox got a gift wrapped retirement sending W next to his...regardless of the outcome...even If LENNOX lost..he wouldn't be cAught DEAD in the squared circle again if it means he;d have to face VITALI again. How convenient that the W he didn't earn covered up his tracks & the heart that was taken away by vitali's fists..... nice try though son but go back to the drawing board & give me something better to work with..... IT's geting embarassing for you here!

I honestly think Lennox realised he got a bit lucky and would have to have his toughest camp ever to get back into top shape and be sure of winning a rematch. He could've kept beating most of the heavyweights out there without too much trouble but a rematch with Vitali would need a level of commitment he didn't have any more.

^^^ Holmes didnt look like a used Tampon.

An interesting note from the post-fight interview is that Vitali was bleeding from the INSIDE of his mouth as well. Lennox hits extremely hard, and if you dont go down from a concussion you will get severely busted up as Vitali did that night. Either way it was going to be a Tko victory for Lewis. Inescapable.

why was lewis never punished for the way he held and punched his opponents? He was bad about doing this and if the head had nowhere to go of course it made his punches harder. if i'm not mistaken thats how he cut vitalis eye in the first place. Shouldnt it have been like a headbutt and went to the scorecards since it was done illeagally?

Thank you,,,,, the replays clearly show that Vitali's arm is being held & then Lewis punching him from a close angle..which therefore Lewis had to twist his glove to get the shot in & there4 grazed him with the lacing. These haters act like Lennox cut him with a legitimate punch. It was a freakin' punch on the break for cryin' out loud & ANYBODY would've been cut including Lennox if the stitching of the glove touches your skin just right. In fact...Lennox'S LAST punch with 10 seconds to go as he was being manhandled to the ropes was also a punch on the side of the head while in a clinch that was initiated by Lewis to get Vitali off of him. Regardless,,, Vitali took everyone of these freebie cheap shots,,including a monstrous uppercut earlier in the rd & still kept coming forward.... **** he even kept coming forward in the post fight rituals as well....

It's at the postfight...5 minutes after the fight where Lewis lost his manhood... he saw what he did to the state of his face..yet Vitali was still in his...rematch be damned right then & there with the thinking being If I CAN'T KNOCK THIS guy OUT landing every punch in my repertouire & this guy still keeps coming forward...he must NOT be human...i'm out of the fight game but let me make it look like i've just lost hunger & interest & that I am down with the rematch,, hopefully Kirk Johnson can knock Klitschko the F OUT & then I can retire with dignity as NO one IN THERE right minds will think i'm DUCKING Johnson..since Johnson already ducked him before,,, but unfortunately Vitali tapped that fat ass like no other..knowing althewhile Lennox WAS glued to that TV>>>> CASE CLOSED.... ThAT'S WHAT HAPPENED FOLKS..... NOTHING more to see here!

The excuse of overweight & out of his prime is always given when a fighter got his handed to him not when he got the W..... No need for a response as you've all been exposed & always did know who the best man that night in the ring was..., all the W'S in the world will never change the fact Klitschko dominated that fight & made Lewis look old..fat & out of shape......

Funny how Lewis Haters/Vitali fans bring up that Vitali was dominating the fight and keep forgetting the fact that he lost the fight to an old fat out of shape Lewis.

I like Lennox and I like Vitali. Vitali was winning the fight, but lewis was getting through enough to **** up his face... Thats boxing, get used to it or watch ladie's tennis.

Am i missing the sarcasm? if not, then this is part of the problem and why this ****** subject lingers on.

Vitali dominated lewis, but left himself open to get the fight stopped. Lewis won, Vitali lost to a lewis he was dominating.

Not saying Lewis at that point was better than vitali, not saying vitali is better than lewis... just saying that Vitali lost a fight (fair and square) that he was dominating...

If anything that is more props to lewis than vitali, Lewis found a way to win a fight he was losing badly, Vitali found a way to lose a fight he was dominating in.
