You keep harping ON A PUNCH WHICH CAUSED a cut as that's the highlight of the fight for Lennox..... the lacing & stitching of his glove is the Mvp HERE not Lennox... LL just delivered the punch.. he was ONLY a mailman here..the stamp & seal of approval belonged to the glove he was wearing...I love how you nuthuggers give FULL CREDIT TO Lennox for the punch when the supporting cast which was the lacing or whatever the **** it is that cut him gets little fanfare,,,,,, please just stop the bs already..it's getting boring by now. I have more than proved my points to all of you's & i suggest you take heed as school is ovah!
You claimed the fight would have went to the scorecards after one more round, which was a lie. You also claimed Vitali was never hurt by Lewis, another lie. So you didn't prove anything in this thread, you were just proven wrong.

Yeah but where's the credit to the manufacturer of the glove & the peeps who stitched up the glove? Answer me that son... instead of the plain old fluff answers... :"it was a punch" no **** sherlock.
yeah your right it probably would have gone to the scorecard after 7 rounds...

the basis of your "work" in this thread is saying how it was a lucky/illegal punch.....clearly from the video i posted you can now see it wasn't

It has been disproved because everyone here knows the rules of boxing apart from you. Yet you still something think you're right.

He wasn't hurt enough to taste the canvas as you were erroneously suggesting. Obviously if your face look as if Freddy Krueger had a field day ...you're hurt... in no way does it mean you can't continue or that you're losing the boxing match. The 7 rd thing might've been a gaffe on my part but I can't find a source that it isn't & you can't find a source to disprove it..so i wouldn't gloat over that.. All MY other points throughout this thread are more than valid.

Where's your source in clear english that states it wouldn;t have gone to the scorecards in another rd. If you guys are correct ...then Vitali could've been stopped in the 10th or 11 th rd ahead on the scorecards like he was against Byrd but because the dr. syops it on cuts.... Lewis still gets a Tko despite being handily beaten,,, if this is the case..then there needs to be some change in the boxing rules DD.

How can you possibly find a source which just states random things which ARE NOT true?

The rules, as stated by Harold Lederman before every fight, are that if a punch causes a cut and it has to be stopped, its a TKO. If its an accidental headbutt, they go to the score cards after 4 completed rounds.

You want a source? WATCH BOXING.

                • oK///FINE... I MIGHT;ve misinterpreted the rules there. i ASSUMED that if i heard it a couple of times I MIGHT AS well use it. I guess it doesn't make sense that if a fight is stopped 1 way..in between rds... the verdict would change 1 rd later.. I guess i wanted to believe it when it was most probably a conspiracy theory by a couple of fans to lessen the validity of the stoppage.... happy now!

So you'll accept that one more round wouldn't have made a difference to Vitali's chances to win the fight, and would have considerably improved Lennox's chances of a knockout, given that Vitali was already half blind and taking massive damaging punches that were snapping his head back and making him hold on to avoid going down. All things that you've already stated in this thread.
