After Watching Martinez vs Pavlik and Williams Sergio Isnt All That

Uhh in the Pavlik fight didn't the cut happen in round 2 or something? I remember Sergio cutting him early with clean punches and boxing Pavliks face off untill about the 6th round, then Sergio layed off and Pavlik started to take over until about the 9th round when Sergio got his second wind and re-opened Pavliks cut and/or cut him again. It was a dominant performance.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't want to see that fight right away.

I think folks should be more concerend with the fact that Paul may never be the same again...Dude has not said one word since the fight, and he used to stay in the fight news (weekly)....

Agreed - I also think Pavlik's cut really really helped Martinez. Granted, he caused it.

Pavlik was ruined by Bhop, thats why he looked good. And we all know Paul Williams is overrated, and does the same shiet each time he fights. I dont see sergio skills on par with floyd or have the athletism as pac, hes overrated beating an overrated fighter imo. But he has a good future ahead of him, give him a guy thats unpredictable hell have trouble.

This thread is garbage. Sergio just has the "it" factor. He knows how to use legs, head movement (he IS slick) and has great anticipation. He ****ed up Pavlik, Willaims, and Cintron, he can fight anybody at this stage.
