I don't give neither much of a chance at beating Pacquiao but clearly Berto's chances are better. Mosley's been showing bad stamina, can't pull the trigger. Atleast Berto has the legs to tie Pacquiao up and he can throw some pretty good uppercuts. The only thing Shane would have going for him at this point is his power and chin...THATS IT.

Only a fool couldn't see what was going on. Berto and Haymon don't want to do anything to mess up those paychecks. He get's brutal KO'd by Mosley or Manny and dude is done as far as stealing HBO money. He knows it and more importantly Haymon knows it as well.
I LOL @ people that say this stuff.

Berto isn't going to fight Manny and all this is for show. Neither him or Haymon wanna mess up those good paychecks they get from HBO by fighting bums.

He fights Manny and he will be back on ESPN2 or ShoBox.

So look for him to either price himself out or find away out of this fight if it ever happened.
I agree with you. And then Berto will end up in negotiations with Mosely again, and his "old a$$ grandpa" statements will just end up making him sound even dumber because (in his words) he would be trying to fight one. All of a sudden "grandpa Mosely" would be a relevant fighter again if HE is the one fighting him.

        Ahh, the irony of relevancy...

          Berto has no chin man.

Shane is terrible but if you come at him you play into one of the few strengths he has left as a fighter.

I mean if Shane was able to catch Floyd twice, your telling me he wouldn't catch Berto?

Also your trying to tell me that Berto would have survived that second round against Shane like Floyd did. You guys crack me up....smh

Hey Berto how about boxing wants to see you prove yourself first. You have to earn your way to the lottery ticket in boxing. Mosley put in work, now it's time for you to do the same.

Berto can box man. He hasn't fought the best competition, but I don't like how people think dude is just terrible. And, he is not just going to come at Shane. Berto can crack too, he would light Shane up man. All he would have to do is box Shane and pick his shots.

Who did Clottey beat to prove he deserved a Manny fight?

His best win was against a faded Zab Judah.

No, I'm not telling you that. Don't make up what you want me to say. What I AM SAYING, is that Berto isn't this bum that he is made out to be and Shane would NOT just steam roll this kid or "brutally knock him out". This kid is fast as lightning and can crack and the fighter he is now, I think he beats Mosley.

Clottey has been around a lot longer than Berto. He's fought Zab (May fought him too). He fought a prime Margarito. Berto struggled against Louis Collazo...enough said.
