PWill has taken more dangerous fights early in his career and didn't get to cash his ticket and may never get to. So why should Berto when he hasn't put in any work?
    Yes, a faded Zab, I didn't stutter.

Why should he get that chance? Because....uh...that is what happens in the sport of boxing. He is a much better opponent than Shane Mosley and I don't even think that is debatable. I mean, they are talking about fighting Shane Mosley in May of 2011..think about that for a minute.

SSM is shot and only has a punchers chance. I would like him to fight JMM at 140 to shut JMM and the people who still think JMM has a chance. PAC is on another level compared to JMM. Either way im a ******* and will buy any of PAC's fight lol

        I hate this *****..

Berto = #2 WW, undefeated, prime (?) and coming off a great KO win. All these you can't say about Mosley anymore (as Pac ducked Mosley when he WAS this - FACT).

Berto deserves to fight Pac more than anyone AT WW unless you speak of the #1 WW Mayweather who's on vacation in court and is irrelevant at the moment. THE UNDEFEATED, Berto IS the man AT WW to beat. What is the problem?

You people and the excuses you attempt to "give" just blows my mind. Should we get SRL in there with Pac, he's an ATG? I wonder if he will pick up the phone, I wonder if Top Rank thinks SRL is ducking Pac?

        I have five simple questions;

        1. Why did Pac demand that the Cotto fight be held AT a catchweight when he had already fought (non ranked WW) De La Hoya AT 147/no catchweight?

        2. What did #5 WW Clottey do to deserve a fight with Pac AT WW?

        3. What did the non ranked WW/JMW Margarito do to deserve a fight with Pac AT JMW?

        4. Why is it NOW that Pac wants to ONLY fight AT 147 but won't even fight a TOP ranked WW if it must take place AT 147?

        5. Why does Pac pick and choose certain fighters AT certain weight classes AT certain weights?

Now explain why Pac ducked Mosley and explain why Berto doesnt deserve a fight with pac?

Yes, and he caught Floyd because Floyd stood right in front of him with his guard open. And, I agree, Floyd is cut from a whole different cloth than Berto is. The point I'm again trying to drive home is that I SEE Berto boxing Shane Mosley and not standing and trading.

Um, yea..that was a while ago man. That can't be overlooked. Shane is different fighter than he was when he fought Forrest, Oscar and those guys.
Well I deleted that reply because I misunderstood what you wrote. I re-read you intial post and got what you were saying.

Well I will admit Berto isn't as bad as most make him out to be. He might beat Shane now, but I doubt it, however my references were to if they fought when they were suppose to back in January.

Personally I think people are fooled by the Floyd and Mora fight and while shane is clearly past it, he can look good given the right opponent. Berto, IMO fights the later and I think Shane KO's him in 7-10 rounds.

Manny was still talking about a cut off....don't get confused about that, but save that for another thread. Sorry for even bringing that up.

I'm not sure if talking is going to get him the fight Ray. I really don't. I just think from top to bottom he is a better opponent than Shane to fight Manny in May of 2011.

You would have answers to all your questions if you used the search feature.

Those topics have been broke down in detail.

No what happens in boxing is you "earn" your way to getting paid, you're not given anything upfront. If Pac beats Berto, he gains nothing as people will say that Berto struggled against lesser men and will point to those fights. If Berto wins the world is his along with a massive paycheck. In my opinion he hasn't earned the right to have any of those things happen. Let him fight one or two gate keepers first then get a crack for the top spot.

You're right and here I thought it was because May needed more time to fill out his profile page on Twitter...my bad.

So, are you implying that you rather Manny beat up an old man rather than a younger champion?
