Freddy Hernandez a cop? Actually I think you are referring to Miguel Angel Rodriguez who Berto fought a few fights back. There are too many excuses why Berto doesn't deserve the fight.

True boxing fans want to see the best fight the best. Mayweather is out of the picture with his situation so AT 147lbs Berto (current WBC welterwight champion) regardless of who he has or hasn't fought YET is a good respectable opponent at his natural weight. He WANTS a big fight, he is an undefeated champion, let him fight Manny. If he gets his ass whooped then so be it but no one can discredit a Manny win over Berto as opposed to Manny beating Mosley. Too many *******s talking about there won't be enough money or ppv sells with Berto as if the money Manny makes affects them in any way. I miss the classic fights when fighters wanted to fight the best. Not the case now-a-days. From the 3 guys in the running TRUE UNBIASED boxing fans WANT JMM or Berto NOT Mosley. Just my opinion

There you go Berto get out there and stir up some drama. So people know who you are. So the casual fans can see that Pacquiao is ducking prime fighters and going after old, tired guys with big names. I dont care about what yall say about Berto and his resume. You guys are all afraid of Berto knocking pac off. Which is what I believe will happen. Berto is too big, too strong, a lot of speed, and still in his prime. That has team pac scared ****less. It's time for team and pac and pacs fans to stop wanting to see boring ass fights. Can't wait for this one. The world's biggest draw, active p4p king vs. Shane mosley. What a fight. Manny coming of his big win over margarito and mosley ko'd margarito. Now we see who is best. How will little manny overcome the odd's here. Hard to stop a steamroller like shane. He has taken it easy for a little while, but he is ready. On fight night he won't have won a fight in over 27 months. That means he'll be fresh. Way fresher than when he fought floyd..................

i respect andre hes just trying to do whatever, so maybe arum will change his mind and give andre the fight. but like we all know its not going to happen and shane most likely will get the match. berto this should be motivation so you can step up your fight game and battle against top fighters. then you can face manny in the near future

So what you're saying is that you rather pay to see Mosley get outclassed a third straight time, than to see a young fighter without a loss fight PAC, last time I checked, PAC STILL HASN'T FOUGHT ANYONE WITHOUT A LOSS.

No what I am saying is he may go this route for a stay busy fight in the hopes of keeping the mayweather fight alive. Not that I am calling Mosley a gatekeeper or just a tune up because I don't think he is that yet. He was definately past his prime for the Mayweather fight already, he just looked really good against Margarito because marg was taylor made for him, and maybe he fought down to his competition in Mora. I don't know.

All I am saying is maybe he figthts Mosley, to stay busy and if and when the mayweather fight doesn't happen, than he can entertain the Berto fight. of course i would rather see him fight Berto, but going the Mosley route first makes sense.

You have to remember Berto hasn't exactly done much to demand that magnitude of a fight. of course he is gonna call him out because he can't make that much money anywhere else, but don't get me wrong I do hope it eventually happens.
