Well I will admit Berto isn't as bad as most make him out to be. He might beat Shane now, but I doubt it, however my references were to if they fought when they were suppose to back in January.

Personally I think people are fooled by the Floyd and Mora fight and while shane is clearly past it, he can look good given the right opponent. Berto, IMO fights the later and I think Shane KO's him in 7-10 rounds.
Ok, we obviously disagree. However, in my opinion, Berto is a better opponent than Shane is for Manny in May of 2011. Let's hope they don't rush to get it signed (I'm almost certain they will fight Shane) and see what happens with Mayweather's legal situation. And, if the cost if clear, make that fight so these fights we are discussing won't even happen.

A few weeks later he signed to fight Quintana yet he couldn't have told Shane and HBO to push the fight back. It was already signed and I doubt HBO and Team Mosley would have been heartless enough to turn down Berto's request.

Only a fool couldn't see what was going on. Berto and Haymon don't want to do anything to mess up those paychecks. He get's brutal KO'd by Mosley or Manny and dude is done as far as stealing HBO money. He knows it and more importantly Haymon knows it as well.
I think you're seeing what you WANT to see TR. It looks to me that he(Berto) needed a couple of weeks to be with his family, before he could focus 100% on a fight. By the time he was ready to re-focus, Shane and Floyd were a done deal. I doubt that he could've asked for HBO to push the date back as the late January date is a marquee date, HBO lost money by that fight not happening on THAT date. I am sure that HBO and Team Mosley were indeed sympathetic to Berto and his needs, but business is business.

Besides the Quintana fight was not a bad choice. Alot of people thought that Carlos would outbox Andre. Not very many saw that fight ending in TKO.

No I actually implied that when May fought him lol. Truthfully I don't think Pac should fight Mosley. But I like Mosley, mostly because he's taken on all comers even against his better judgment. I don't think Mosley deserves this fight, but I'd rather see him cash in a big paycheck for all the hard years he's put into this sport, again in my opinion he's put in work. Berto hasn't. I'd rather Pac just retire.

So, you like him, thus he should fight Manny? Come on with that. And, he just fought Mayweather earlier this year, you would be silly if you don't think he cashed out in that fight.

Berto is a young fresh opponent with boxing skills, speed and power that could present something different for Manny and not he same come forward style he has been facing.

lol You silly goose you, I KNOW the answers. Obviously the other guy didn't... because if he did he would know Berto deserves a shot more than Pac's last two opponents, not to mention the Mosley of 2011.
