I don't think Berto is neccessarily a bigger threat than Mosely, but I do think fighting Berto would be more relevant in shutting some of the nay-sayers up.

Pac vs. Marques with Berto vs. Mosley on the under card. That would be a big fight for Cinco De Mayo weekend. The winners and losers can fight each other in fall.

thats the problem with pac at the moment, jumping divisions ended up screwing him over... everyone expects him to fight guys from 3 different divisions. its freakin tug-of-war... everyone wants that payday. and now since he has all of these options, his choice of opponent gets scrutinized and looks suspect.... arum is doing his JOB... maximize his clients earning potential. sucks for us

Berto isn't going to fight Manny and all this is for show. Neither him or Haymon wanna mess up those good paychecks they get from HBO by fighting bums.

He fights Manny and he will be back on ESPN2 or ShoBox.

So look for him to either price himself out or find away out of this fight if it ever happened.

Mosley is still in demand these days, after his Pacman fight we'll prolly see him take on Berto:bukkake: but hopefully he'll retire after Pacman gives him a beating or maybe he could fight (and hopefully beat) Berto first as suggested in earlier post, then face Pacman next.

agree, pac fighting shane will not help his legacy... gives more fuel to floyd fanboys. PLUS, since floyd COMPLETELY dominated shane, if pac doesnt look spectacular, it will only hurt his image (although styles makes fights)... so if this is how pac wants to end his career (by taking irrelevant big money fights instead of legacy/history defining fights, then so be it.... he had a solid career).

berto still gasses out... and has a suspect chin.... i honestly dont see him being a threat for pac... but a chance to unify the titles should be something team pac should think about.

A few weeks later he signed to fight Quintana yet he couldn't have told Shane and HBO to push the fight back. It was already signed and I doubt HBO and Team Mosley would have been heartless enough to turn down Berto's request.

Only a fool couldn't see what was going on. Berto and Haymon don't want to do anything to mess up those paychecks. He get's brutal KO'd by Mosley or Manny and dude is done as far as stealing HBO money. He knows it and more importantly Haymon knows it as well.
